This has such an amazing flavor! I'm in love with it! I eat it all the time now, which makes it unfortunate that I have to buy it on Amazon every time, but it usually gets delivered between 1 and 3 days, so it's better than others! 4 packs or 8 come in one order, so the price is a bit high, but the speedy shipping, great packaging and amazing flavor pretty much make up for it. I've purchased both the 4 and the 8 pack of these a few times now, and I am never disappointed. With the 8 pack, they come in 2 seperate packages of 4, but the packages are wrapped together nicely. The ramen itself is yellowish and the noodles have a nice thickness you want in this kind of ramen. The package has a vegetable packet with peas and carrots, that I cook with the noodles to help them reconstitute better and not have that dry powder feel to them, and it has a liquid seasoning packet, which I love that it comes that way instead of as a powder. There are black bean pieces in the sauce packet and I believe some type of meat or fake meat as well. If you don't want to add the sauce to the noodles and reduce the sauce on the stove, you'll want to drain all of the water out before you put in the sauce if you like a really thick sauce, or leave just a tablespoon or two of water to thin it out. It is a bit sweet, so if you're looking to add a little heat and flavor, I mix this with the Jjajang Hot Chicken Ramen and mix in some chili oil and it is out of this world. Also, this tastes amazing with eggs and fried spam. I prefer really soft boiled eggs or over easy, but any is good. The yolk to mix in with it is where the great new flavor comes from! Overall this may not be real jjajangmyeon, but if you think of it as it's own thing, you'll love it.

The noodles taste sweet with a hint of salt. I’ve tried black bean noodles from other brands and they were more so bitter (which I still enjoyed) but the taste of these noodles I would say taste better than the ones that I have tried.Inside the package is the noodle, a bag of flakes and the sauce. There are chunks of meat in the sauce for those who are curious. Also another thing to note is that the sauce tastes the absolute best when it is warmed up. When I was making mine I cut some onions and sautéed them then added the sauce and then the noodles. Or if you want you can get a small pot and just heat the sauce up a bit. I’m giving this advice from experience..lol

Tastes great though it is on the sweet side.

I've tried chapagetti years ago and didn't like the flavor of it but I decided to give jajangmyeon another chance now that I'm older and I've been interested in trying different types of Korean noodles. I was surprised that the sauce packet wasn't a powder compared to chapagetti and decided to omit all the water once they were cooked. It's very delicious, with sweet and savory flavors. next time I plan to add more ingredients like cabbage and zucchini and maybe ground pork to make it more filling. Also to note, this is not 100% vegetarian/vegan friendly but I'm sure there's a vegetarian option of this brand. only regret is I should of bought more to store for the upcoming semester

Ok so yes, you May purchase them from your local H-Mart (if available ) or any other korean store by you for about two to three bucks less. With that being said, they’re delicious ! Admittedly, my first bite I wasn’t to sure how I felt about the flavor, but I knew for sure I didn’t hate it , but that it needed some heat. Next pack I added in some siracha, green onions and fried up some eggs and oooooh man, game changer ! I’m now ordering more packs ! Oh yeah, the instructions state to leave some water in, but it’s best to fully drain !

Personally, I did not like the taste of this, I thought it was pretty disgusting, but I like the texture. Also, my sister LOVED these noodles, she thought it was better than traditional ramen noodles so it really just depends on taste preference and tolerance for different taste. It does not taste like anything I've ever had so it is difficult to describe. I won't purchase again personally.

When they say "black bean" they mean it. As in, that's all I could taste. Just cook some Ramen noodles, open a can of grocery store black beans, pulse in your blender a couple seconds and mix with them. That's what they tasted like to me. Bean smell and taste was overpowering. Will not but again.

I love these nooooods !They are so yummy and addicting.I will be purchasing my third pack in a month.I do wish they were a little bit cheaper, since there are only four packs...Other than that they are da bombbbA little sweetness,Some saltiness,And chewy noodlesMmm so good !
