Always wise to have extra drill bits on hand in case one breaks or dulls. I now buy individual bits in multiples instead of sets. I also use the size bit the job calls for. This is more efficient and the end product always turns out well. I found these bits sharp and of sufficiently good quality. I only used them in wood but they were sharp. In the hand drill they were easy to control and accuracy was fine.

Good drill bits for about 3 or 4 holes in mild steel. Toss em after that.

Was able to drill 2 ford super duty knuckles for cross over steering kit. Worked well.

Amazingly sharp and long lasting, I expected to burn through these quick. I drill nothing but steel and have not burned up one yet, drilled at least 25 holes and still on the first bit. Don't lean on them, just even pressure and let them do the work.

Bought five of these because the last bits I bought at the big box store rapidly dulled. These are excellent. I did not need 5 because the first one stayed sharp. Highly recommend.
