Good for my dogs
Seems to be good stuff. Been giving to my dogs for 3-4 years. From what I can tell, it doesnโt change the flavor because the pups never hesitate to eat. I wish it came with a cap from which you can pour instead of just a pumper. I have such a cap that I got from another bottle and have used it with this oil since I started using it. I like that I can control how much oil I dispense more precisely than I could with a pumper.

High EPA and DHA,protected from oxidation by natural vitamin E and an aluminum bottle, vacuum distilled, very mild flavor&aroma.
I am a biologist, a graduate of MIT, and both my wife and I take this salmon oil every day. It has a very mild flavor and aroma, like salmon lox, but much milder. It is a very cost-effective source of EPA and DHA, two essential omega 3 fatty acids that are good for your cardiovascular system, brain, joints, and so much more. It is vacuum distilled, which eliminates traces of heavy metals and foreign proteins that might cause allergies in sensitive people. This also makes the flavor and aroma very mild. It really is pharmaceutical grade, and doesn't need to be encapsulated to go down easily. It comes in a food grade epoxy coated aluminum bottle, which, like glass, is completely impermeable to oxygen, and unlike glass won't break during rough handling shipping. Plastic is NOT a good oxygen barrier. It is further protected with natural mixed tocopherol (vitamin E family) antioxidants. It does not require refrigeration after opening because of this protection against oxidation, though you can refrigerate it if you wish. The pump system admits much less air when dispensing than a screw cap bottle, and is dribble-proof and more convenient. One of the biggest recent changes in human diets is a great increase in the ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 fats. In the American diet, the 6 to 3 ratio is now about 30 to 1 or even 40 to 1. Not good! 10,000 years ago, it was much closer to 1 to 1. Grass fed deer, antelope, elk, buffalo, etc. have quite a bit of DHA and EPA, though not nearly as much oily cold water fish. Great stuff! We each take 2 to 4 teaspoons per day. Enjoy! To your health!

Excellent Product
This has proven to be remarkably economical to use for our two dogs - one large, the other medium-sized. I've used other fish oils that I thought were cheaper - but you have to look at the recommended dosage. Besides being high quality (according to our vet), it IS non-scented, the packaging is top-notch (aluminum bottle and high-quality plastic pump), you don't have to refrigerate it (you can if you want to), and our dogs love it. Both our dogs started scratching this past summer, with no apparent reason visible (no fleas or mites; skin seemed normal; no hot spots). The vet suggested possible allergies, but aside from a long haul of any kind of testing and experimenting, I decided to try fish oil on advice from a friend. The other brand we started with was moderately helpful but the scratching continued (just not as frantically). Our dogs have been on this now for several months and their scratching has eased up remarkably; sometimes now I think its just habit, as if we interrupt them, they don't go back to it afterwards. In addition, there is the added benefit that these oils can help with any joint pain and inflammation.
