This product just continues the great line of Hoppe's products. No. 9 is a must have in any owners arsenal and this just makes the process that much easier. Same cleaning power I'm used to in an easier to use system.

This should come with a reducer for .22 barrels. It makes quite a mess when trying to get it in the barrel. Otherwise, it works great just like all of Hoppe's products.

Hoppe's gun solvent has a built-in spray nozzle. You won't have to hunt around for the one that is supposed to be attached but rolled off the workbench because the can got lubed up the last time you cleaned your Browning. We all know after shooting, sometimes we want to clean the guns and get 'em back in the safe to grab dinner and a beer. Cleaning the weapons should not have to start off with a hunt for the nozzle. That said, the solvent is thick and sets fine. Spray some where you need it and let it sit a spell. After a few, you will be happy with the amount of grime that comes out and off, especially if you shot dirty lead. In just a short bit, your guns will be ready for the next go round. I like a lot of different brands but I sure do like the Hoppe's on this one.

This product worked just as described. Cleaned and oiled with ease and left very little residue. Great purchase for any gun owner. Will definitely keep this in stock.

I've used Hoppe's No. 9 solvent and oil all my life to clean guns after firing them, and always found that they did the job I needed them to do very well. Recently I purchased an M4 and found upon cleaning that the star chamber was very time consuming to clean properly using liquid solvent and patches, not to mention it took a lot of patches before they came out clean. I decided to try a foaming cleaner as a way to save time and effort with the complex surfaces, and Hoppe's seemed like a good place to start. I'm very satisfied with the way this stuff works. The way I use it, I take everything down and fill the chamber and barrel with foam, then stand the gun barrel-down in a tray to catch the cleaner. Then I clean and oil the BCG while it sits. By the time I'm done with the bolt, the foam has decomposed into liquid that runs out of the muzzle with most of the gunk. Then I push a couple of patches through til they come out clean, oil it all up and it's done. It's especially gratifying the way it gets to all the stuff in the grooves of the rifling; something that takes much more patience and effort with the old liquid solvent. It's also a heck of a lot less pungent, though the smell of nitro solvent never bothered me too much. To be fair, it's the first foaming bore cleaner that I've used so I can't speak to how it ranks among it's competitors, but I'll probably buy this again when I run out.

Seems to work as advertised. Only 4 stars due to having it come back out the hole I'm squirting it into. Workable, just not perfect.
