Worked as expected, Would buy again!!

I purchased an off-brand set of ink cartridges that fit my HP printer. They worked for one or two sheets. After that, print quality was horrible and inconsistent. Half the time the colors wouldn't work. Tossed them and went back to HP branded cartridges and print quality was restored. I won't ever use non-HP branded cartridges again.

Great, fast delivery. I bought them on Amazon after years of buying them on HP's site. The price point is similar. Delivery is quick; next day, which I desperately needed. These are the XL, higher ink capacity cartridges which I love. From now on I'll be looking on Amazon for my HP cartridges as long as the price point stays similar to HP.

We all know that sometimes when ink runs out, you want to buy another printer since it seems to be about the same price as the ink! I reviewed several websites for 3rd party ink, and tried one of them only to have it not work (printer thought the ink was still empty). HP inks have a small computer chip on them that tells the printer it's an original HP ink, and work without fear of hassles or headaches. Every time I try to save a few dollars, I end up spending a lot more than I thought I was saving, plus I have hassles to deal with as well. Original HP ink is the way to go. Regarding my purchase from Amazon and this seller, I got the ink in 3 days and have zero complains. I will buy this ink, from this seller, next time I need HP ink.

Works well with my HP Officejet Pro 8600

I purchased this HP cartridge on January 9, 2018 but actually didn't open to use until July 27, 2018. The printer gave an error message that I couldn't use this cartridge. What I found later was that HP started regionalizing their cartridges, and whatever zone cartridge was in your printer when the regionalization started was where your printer defaulted...correct or not! This is very important since my printer had the wrong region defaulted at the time the last cartridge was put into service. I had to call HP to get my region on my printer corrected. As long as the product is under warranty they do it for free. This cartridge was correct after my printer was corrected. I had to find this out by the HP forum where a kind person replied to tell me the solution to my issue. I just don't want others to go through what I did, when it wasn't the cartridge I purchased here at Amazon.

Works just as expected. If you are printing much in the short amount of time always go with the XL packs but if not don't let it wait in the printer to slowly drain its extremely overpriced ink in your printers hidden ink collector sponge tray. If not a frequent user, buy smaller cartridges in bulk (like 5 packs etc.) and only install the cartridge right before printing instead. Best of luck on defending your hard earned cash against the tyranny of Printers.

I prefer to stay with the brand name ink as it’s never failed me. The XL cartridges represent a much better value - and they haven’t dried out even when hardly ever used.
