I am a satisfied customer! I try to not use products that are harmful to my body such as foods and lotions, and recently heard about this organic product and wanted to give it a try. I am pleased to say that this mascara goes on smoothly and makes my eyes look naturally brighter. It also doesn't clump or smudge easily. I do the suggested amount of application so that my eyes have more of a "pop". I've also had issues with eye irritation in the past from other non-organic brands of mascara and am happy to say, that after almost a week of using this product, I've had zero eye redness, itching, or watery eyes! Yay! One other thing I do like about this mascara is that when I am ready to remove it from my eyes, it does wash off easily with water and my facial cleanser. I don't have to do a tremendous amount of scrubbing or use a makeup remover, like I've had to do in the past while using other mascaras. I really like that it's made from natural ingredients, so I don't have to worry about what I'm putting on my body. I will continue to use this product!

I received my new Naturally Rooted mascara a couple weeks ago, but I wanted to wait to review it until I actually had the chance to use it and see how it worked. I have EXTREMELY sensitive eyes. I'm allergic to almost every kind of mascara, so it's always a frustrating battle when it comes time to purchase a new tube. I've used 100% Pure before, which I really like, but it's really pricey. I've tried Physicians Formula and that is the worst for my eyes. I had been using Clinique's brand, but after applying it, within 30 minutes my eyes would sting for the rest of the day. So much for hypoallergenic! Anyway... I read all through the reviews for Naturally Rooted and liked what I read. I like that the company is small and that they strive to use all natural ingredients. I am amazed to say that this is the FIRST mascara that I can apply and wear for long periods of time without any adverse affects! It is a little bit clumpy, so I take time to wipe the wand around the bottom every time I use it. I can see that Naturally Rooted will be just like other natural brands and require replacement every 3 months. But it's our eyes we're talking about.... it's important that we invest money in something that we're applying directly to our eyelashes..... our eyes are precious. Thank you Naturally Rooted for a GREAT product!! I'd LOVE it if you could create a BLUE mascara.... that's always been my favorite!

2nd update: Even newer review: After using this mascara for a week it did start having clumps. They are easy to work through, so it isn't a deal killer for me, but I can't keep the 5 star review, as I leave that for exceptional products. The Peter Thomas Roth mascara lasts a few weeks before having clumps, this one lasted a week and I am now into the second/third week with even more clumps. 1st update: New updated review: So I have changed my original 1 star review to 5. Why? It turns out that the first order I received must have been broken. Their wonderful customer service, upon seeing my original review of what happened, figured it out and sent me a new one without my having to ask. And guess what? The new one does live up to the hype of all the five star reviews on here. I just tried it out and I am very impressed. It went on nice with no clumps, my lashes feel soft, and have nice definition and length. I have been using Peter Thomas Roth LASHES TO DIE FOR THE MASCARA for quite some time and have been very happy with it, but their prices have gone way up so I was hoping to find a substitute that equally compares. This Premium Mascara is exactly what I was looking for. I am very grateful they took the time to send me another one, and knew what went wrong with the one I received. I was clueless and feel bad now for the one star review. I will buy this mascara again. Original review: When I opened it up and took out the wand, the mascara was just a giant glob of goo on the wand. I couldn't see a single bit of the brush part. Mascara shouldn't be like that. I have never in my life had mascara come out like that. So I am returning it. I am so disappointed, as the reviews made it sound so good.

This is a good mascara in terms of how it looks when applied. It is thick and bold and goes on easily. Unfortunately, I bought this mascara hoping it would not irritate my eyes because I've been having a problem with make up making my eyes burn but this mascara makes them burn more than others I have tried. This is more my eye's fault than the make up's but because it is not waterproof and comes off very very easily, it gets in my eyes more and therefore irritates them more than usual.

I came home from work to discover my new mascara had been delivered and literally stopped what I was doing to put it on. The reviews for this stuff were really good so I was anxious to try it out. IT IS SO GOOD. I just switched out all my makeup to natural/organic/non-toxic and the mascara was my last piece to swap. I prefer a very natural but full-looking lash for everyday wear. This mascara is exactly what I was looking for. You can see in my pic (I have zero other makeup on) how natural yet plumped the lashes on the left look. **Note: In the pic, I am wearing this mascara on the left eye only. Right eye is completely free of any product. I really hope this stands up to daily use because I am already a huge fan. No clumping whatsoever. The applicator is really good. Great for coating and separating the lashes.
