Nice product. No issues
Iโve bought these numerous times. Accurate over the years with no failures. My go to meters for monitoring generator loads.

Works on Small Heat Load
Used in conjunction with SCR Power supply for a small heating load. The amperage was too small to read accurately at 2 amps. I looped the output conductor 10 times through the CT providing a reading of 22 for 2.2 amps. Works perfectly

Missing parts
Ordered first unit and there was no current transformer with it so I could not use it to measure amps. Ordered another one and the same issue. By the time the third one came I had replaced it with another brand that had all the parts. Sending them all back.

Great solution for Generator circuit load monitoring
I needed a solution to monitor volts and amp draw for my generator that is connected to my main panel by interlock. I wanted a solution next to the panel instead of at the generator, with this I can see exactly what load I am putting on the generator as I turn individual circuits on. If you are not familiar with an interlock - it is an electrician installed lockout safety switch that requires the incoming MAIN circuit to be turned off before allowing the generator circuit to be turned on - which then provides power to the entire panel to the extent your generator can handle the load. My electrician installed a 30amp 220v circuit on the panel and the outlet outside the house as well as the interlock that is specific to my panel type. The new meter only works with the panel in the generator mode and the generator is suppling power. I purchased two of the Drok meters and a box to mount them, worked out well I think as can be seen in the picture. This is the meter showing each side of the panel and the draw on each 10 amps and 12 amps (with most everything turned on short of dryer). By installing two meters I can better balance the load. On the panel switching on a120v circuit will affect only one side of the panel, if you have 220v appliances it will affect both. Visibility is excellent and I checked the AMP measurements and found them to be very close to that of my hand held ammeter. Installation: note that this install should only be performed by an electrician or someone very familiar with the main electric panel, the cover on the panel must be removed and it has live voltage. Install was not hard, just careful planning. Install of the amp meters requires the coils to go around the wires coming into the breaker for the generator, this meant removing the wires from the breaker and inserting them though the coil and reconnecting back to breaker. In normal condition those wires are not hot - only hot when generator is on, so no voltage on them to worry about, but to be safe the main breaker can be turned off. I found a good place where the supply wires were in an open area to put a small dip in the wire to hold the coil in place. The volt meter required one connection to the same hot wire and the second wire to the neutral/ground bus. This was the trickier connection, requiring inserting two wires back into the breaker and finding a place on the bus for the other. My only negative comment about the product was the wires that come with the unit were VERY short, you have to extend them. I used light gauge solid core wire (left over from garage door install) as there is very little power on the wires. I soldered each connection and used shrink tube to prevent a short. Install took about 30 mins for the box cutting and 60 mins to wire up to the panel, working cautiously. As a side note I also purchased the Westinghouse WGen9500DF Dual Fuel Portable Generator from Amazon and I'm very happy with it. At 8500 watts on propane it has plenty of power for this 30Amp interlock circuit.
