If you want firm control order your regular size. But some may prefer one size up. They are a very flattering cut. (I am a size 22/24 with a post-pregnancy tummy.) I was really impressed with the cut and fit. They do go up high enough (to the waist, but don't look too much like granny panties when on! The beige is actually a warm more flattering beige than what you typically see. Also I love that they look and feel like cotton. I hate the shiny nylon look most shapewear has. These also don't LOOK like shapewear. They don't have the really obvious ugly looking panel in front (though they do shape well!) These are absolutely my favorite shapewear undies.And they are comfy enough to wear every day and for long days and even when hot. Went and bought a bunch more pairs in other colors. I would like to replace allmost all my undies with these!

These are great undies! Very supportive yet still cotton....I've been wearing this style for years... but... they seem to have re-sized it. Though I have lost 5 lbs, I need a larger size... On my last order, my regular size I could barely get on, and it didn't come up high enough near my waist... lost money there... the next size up is perfect... just what I used to get!!

I bought these for abdominal support after a hysterectomy- specifically to wear while walking . Support wise they are good- not as tight as spanx, (which would be too much right now)but enough for my needs. I like the feel on my tummy. The material is nice, cotton rich. I do find the legs uncomfortable- probably due to the cut of the brief- because the elastic around the leg is very stretchy. I don't think I could wear these all day, but they work for my purpose. I am 5'4, 123 lbs - I bought the medium- I usually size up in undergarments so there is no bulging from tight elastic.

These undies firmly hold it all together without a restrictive feeling. My favorite feature is it falls just below the waist, no pinching. I thought the seam up the middle backside would be uncomfortable, but not at all, I don't feel it. They've been washed dozens of times in a regular cycle, medium dry and still holds firmly. I wear these everyday, it's that comfortable.

I bought these for me and liked them so much I bought them for my mom, who is also a huge fan. It works well when I wear a fitted dress, no muffin top for those of us with a little extra on the stomach. There are not too snug and mostly cotton. I am a fan of the "light" control as I really don't like being encased in clothing. These are very comfortable.

I like that this brief has a little support and is a comfortable cotton stretch. They come is in a variety of colors and I bought a variety of 8. The brief also fits nicely under both jeans and slacks. The price at Amazon is very reasonable and is about 1/2 of the price of the same briefs in department stores .

These were terribly uncomfortable for me. I'm pretty average 5'7" 140 lbs and the size large cut into my thighs terribly. They would leave an awful panty line. They are also very thick. The material is very clingy and I think clothes would not fall nice over them.

Great pair of underwear if you're looking for a bit more control then a standard pair. Tummy panel in front is just the right amount of hold and the rise is okay, could be a touch higher. Also they're cotton, so very breathable and comfortable.
