It's all about the fit. Make sure you measure accurately. This toilet seat is solid and closes slowly and silently and looks good.

Who'da thunk I would ever write a review about a toilet seat. But when faced with all the choices on a product you least want to buy a bad one, this seat is a good one. Although I thought one of my older ones was good until it started leaking black gunk from the hydraulic hinges. This one is easy to install. Best to use a 5/8" socket as the bolts are plastic and may round off with an adjustable wrench as you need to tighten the bottom nut until it breaks off, leaving a tight mount. It mounts solidly once tightened correctly and doesn't move. Read the directions to understand. It's adjustable to fit at the front of the toilet and the finish and the color matches well. It is removable for cleaning. The lid closes pretty slowly but not a big deal unless you are waiting to sit on it. I consider this a better brand than at a big box store and hope it lasts for many years.
