Looks fine but unclear Lead Free Spec
Valve looks well made, but it's hard to say if it's good for potable water supply. It's clearly marked as lead free, which is the right thing. But there's no NSF/ANSI 61 marking, which doesn't mean it's unsafe but doesn't mean it's certified to be safe. I'd rather see the mfr clearly state whether it's intended for potable water or not. It's marked as "For Natural Gas", though in these parts I've never seen a sweat joint (on copper) for natural gas so I'm not sure if that's a practical residential use in the US.

Leaked at valve handle
I thought I'd buy a valve that seemed to be a little higher quality so I went with this one. Unfortunately after sweating the valve in place it leaked at the handle, not at the sweat joints. I tightened up the nut under the handle and it still leaked. Otherwise the valve looked like pretty high quality construction, nice finish etc. Too bad it leaked.

round copper pipes will not fit into a squared up hole
1-1/4" shut off valve is flat on one end, unless you use copper pipe that is flat on one end do not purchase this item. i would give it zero stars but that is not an option. obviously this was a design error because the brass is way to strong to have been bent any other way. there is no quality control from the manufacturer if this could get by. when checking the others who gave one star it appears to be an issue of bent valves across the who range of sizes.buyer beware...............

Worked great
I like these because they need less room to turn the valve handle. I bought 5 of these all of which are working and installed without any problems. Due to the small lever arm, they take a little more effort to open and close but nothing too substantial. I will buy more of these when needed in the future and I would definitely recommend them.

Great valve
UPDATE 08/18/19: Valve is holding up well. No issues so far07/1/18: The valve was just as described on the listing and the handle turned right with just the right amount of resistance to it. Soldered it on to 3/4" type L copper with the valve shut and no issues. Completely stops the flow when closed and full flow when open.Seems most things are made in China now a days including this valve but seems like it should hold up fine. Cheaper than the HD valves.

Rugged valve, easy to install
Nice rugged valve that was easy to install.I was concerned due to the relatively heavy body that it would be tough to sweat in without damaging the inner seals. It went in like a breeze. I left it in the open position, and did my joints very easily on 1" copper pipe.

Good value
Seemed very well made, much lower price than local big box stores. I am an an amateur plumber and have done some soldering, but not a lot so maybe not the best technique to install it, but it went in fine and survived the heating process just fine. Very happy with the results, I would buy again.

Low cost!
Best thing about these ball valves is the price. Just as good if not better than the big box stores only at a very discounted price. If you plan on doing some repair or new plumbing give your wallet a break and order Prior to beginning your project it is well worth it. Next time I plan on ordering extras.
