Was 5 months after expiration date!
Unfortunately, I bought this in October and just opened that package to give a few as treats. As the photo shows, they were not only handled poorly and tasted horrible, they were also 5 months past expiration date when shipped! I could kick myself for not opening the package earlier, but the return window just closed. Delivering food that's out of date is totally unprofessional and dangerous as well.

The chocolate was all discolored
The candy must have sat in a hot place too long. The chocolate was discolored and it was very old tasting. It says it is still good though

Niederegger makes the best marzipan.

They are so old that the chocolate had a white film over it. It smells nasty, too.
