This shampoo/powder is FANTASTIC! It removed stains in my carpet that had been there for years! I am so pleased. It also smells so good. Try it. It's easy to use.

Returned to my house after 10 days away and it had a very bad odor. Probably from meal preparation by the housesitters. I tried this product with no knowledge about it. It has worked very well. The only shortcoming is that there is a "pre-mist" product made by the same company which is recommended for use with the carpet cleaning powder, but there is no mention of the pre-mist in the text that accompanies the product listing. However, even without the pre-mist, this product has done the job very well, The carpet and the rooms are much better, and there is no bad odor in the rooms treated.

Capture dry rug and carpet cleaning product is the best that came along since sliced bread. I nearly had ruined my light color oriental wool rug with the conventional wet carpet cleaning method. I didn’t know that there is another way to clean a wool carpet which turned a the best way. I figured that I had nothing to lose and gave it a try. Not only are certain spots complete removed but to my surprise and delight the carpet is complete restored and looks beautiful again. I am completely sold on the Capture Pre- Mist and Capture dry Shampoo because cleaning them is so very effortless and the reward is pleasant!

Even with the great reviews, I was skeptical. But the product does work. It fully removed a bad odor from one carpet and with the help of some additional stain remover, cleaned up a carpet I was considering tossing. It doesn't transform the carpet to "like new" status but it bring it up to an acceptable level so that my renters won't raise their eyebrows

The powder worked ok on lightly soiled areas. It’s didn’t make that much of a noticeable difference in my high traffic area.

4 BIG indoor dogs; one is 13, 9, 4, and 2 years old. The 13 year old is at the “pee-where ever-the-F-I-want” phase. (That’s 91 years for a human, we rescued her from a very abusive situation the left her brains a little scrambled.) The entire house, minus kitchen/dining and bathrooms, is carpeted. I used a similar format years ago but couldn’t find it. This is the best bang for the buck I have found. Worth every dollar. The scent hits with this fresh, clean that stays after vacuuming. I vacuumed. Sprinkled. Worked it in with a bristled floor brush to sit for 30-45 minutes. Vacuumed again. THE DIRT THAT WAS RELEASED FROM MY CARPET!! 🤢😳 It was that level of satisfaction of getting rid of disgusting stuff. **13 year old white pittie and the 2 year old Staffie**

I used this product on my carpeted stairs, and the results were amazing. It removed dirt and odors effectively and made the stairs look much cleaner and fresher. It was easy to apply and vacuum up afterward. I will definitely buy it again!

Couldn’t believe how well this works. We had serious staining (from two dogs) on one light tawny carpet, when I over soaked and cleaned it with an industrial carpet cleaner. Thought I’d have to rip it out. Nope. Sprayed the entire space with thier product then used the dry solution and holy smokes! After two applications, following the vacuuming, the carpet was essentially saved. I mean, the stains were horrible. This worked.

I find this the best for carpet stains and well worth the price.

I have black carpets, so normally dirt and marks don't show up very well on the carpet at all. However the matted marks from high traffic areas turn an unsightly light grey. I bought this hoping i wouldn't have to buy or rent a carpet cleaner, as i really don't have the money for it. But in hindsight i would have just gotten a carpet cleaner. I used the powder in my bedroom, and it did, i will not lie, it did make it very obvious where some stains would have been if i had lighter coloured carpet, ( AKA the spew next to my bed when my partner got so drunk and decided to throw up on the floor, and THEN scoop it into the bucket. ), it clung to the stain and all my other carpet once i brushed it in. I vacuumed it up with little to no issue ( I have a Dyson V11 absolute/pro/thingy), but I was a little disappointed with how little really came up. The vomit are was much better, and the carpets felt lovely and smelt nice, but it didn’t get rid of my long set dirt and traffic sadly. I don’t exactly know what I was thinking to be honest, it is a dry chemical compound, I didn’t put a spray down either… All in all, I am going to buy a carpet cleaner, but I do not necessarily regret my decision buying this powder. I have learned that for what I want it wont do the job by itself, and who knows, maybe it’ll work much better with a vinegar spray over the top and then the carpet cleaner run over it too. P.S - i also tried this on 3 different upholstery thingos - couch, lounge and 2 different types of chairs - didn't see a difference :(
