Great product
Good product, easy to clean however if the bowls are put on the floor without the mat then it makes a horrible noise.

Don't get steel get ceramic
Good functionally for my cats, it does the job advertised, but the stainless steel ones are a pain. Without the base rubber if u keep them in any surface they have a cringey scratch, if the mistakenly get stacked they are impossible to disconnect from each other. I'd recommend the ceramic.

Purrfectly satisfied.
The heading says it all. These bowls checked all the boxes for me. I have three cats ages 8, 12, and 17 years old. They're all healthy, happy cats except the oldest. He's like me, old, grumpy, and hard to please. For years I've used various plastic and/or ceramic bowls until my middle cat developed acne under her mouth. This is most often caused by bacteria remaining on a food bowl surface even after cleaning. Hence the search and switch to a quality stainless steel bowl. As I said, these bowls check all the boxes. Surgical stainless is easier to clean and not prone to sustaining bacteria. (By the way, I highly recommend hand washing all stainless cooking ware and serving ware.). Check number two, the bowls are shallow (much easier for cats to feed on) without being oversized and taking up more space the necessary. The bowls hold a 5.5-ounce can of wet food and probably the same with dry food. I fill the dry bowl may be half full, and there is always some left at the end of the day. By the way, the bowls come with a silicone base pad which prevents them from slipping if you feed on slick or slippery surfaces such as tile, linoleum, urethaned wood, cement, and the like. I know this seems like a lot of fuss over food bowls, but these really are that good. Just ask the three cats looking at me and waiting for dinner. ;-)

Nice bowls and they decrease whisker-stress
I like these bowls and so do my cats. My cats do not grab their food and move it to the floor before eating, as they usually do with other bowls. So obviously they find these bowls to be less stressful on their whiskers and more pleasant for mealtimes. They are easy to clean. I usually soak them for 15-minutes, then pop them in the dishwasher. I especially like that they are easy to pick up, as they have a cutout in the side for an easy grip. Update: I still like the melamine bowls with one exception. I've never had one break and I drop them ALL the time. (I'm a clutz and have weak, arthritic hands.) The one thing I don't like is that my cats' wet food dries on them like iron before I get them from the sink to the dishwasher and it doesn't wash off completely in the dishwasher. I invariably have to scrap the food off either before or after the dishwasher and, often, both before AND after. Therefore I'm back today to buy the stainless steel Cat Guru bowls. I didn't even know they made them or, maybe, they are new. I love the shape of these bowls and they work well for my cats. I'm hoping the stainless steel will be just a little easier to clean.

Great price, great quality, and perfect for canned cat food
I love these. I have alway strive to use ceramic or stainless steel for my cat food and water dishes (germs and odors become embedded in porous plastic materials), but I didn't have good options for the wet food. My other issues were that I wanted something slightly elevated, something that wouldn't slide across the floor, and I needed FOUR small dishes in order to feed each of my cats their canned cat food simultaneously. These criterion were making other options I considered ridiculously expensive! Then I saw these and thought, OK, they aren't ceramic or steel, but melamine might be an acceptable option. Because they came in a two-pack and the price was reasonable, I decided to give it a try, or rather, Santa Claws decided to bring them for Christmas. I am so glad I decided to give them a chance. The material is perfect— it is so easy to clean and will be incredibly durable. As shown in one of the photos, each dish has a little cut-out on one side, so it is easy to lick the up and hold on to them. The rim of the bottom of the dishes has a black, rubber-type material to keep them from sliding on the floor and so they won't scratch the floor. They don't rise very much off the floor, but my cats seem to think it's the perfect height: for the ones who like to crouch while they eat, they still can, but if they don't want to bend their legs, they don't have to. At first sight, I didn't think the ridges in the dish were pronounced enough to be efficient, but they actually work very well. With the exception of my youngest cat who seems to like imitating a hog at a trough sometimes, my cats no longer have bits of their food all over the floor; instead, they are more easily able to eat it from the dish. I think even if price was no option, I would not choose a different kind of dish, these are perfect.
