This is a very handy product for people who need some theatrical blood effects on the go. As a performer, do I want to lug around a half gallon of fake blood just for one nosebleed or festering wound?! No! Plus this is much thicker and tackier than fake blood. Very useful for getting that gory gleam to sell small injuries AND...it won't just run everywhere. You only need a little which is what makes the size so very useful. Some people seem to have an issue with it staining or not drying, but that's par for the course with a lot of effects makeup; even buying professional grade makeup will have the same result. It did stain my skin after use but after showering it was gone--nothing too dramatic. I'd expect the same of any blood effects makeup. This is perfect for photos and performances when you want a very fresh looking wound, and it dries into a lovely, gnarly blood stain.

These worked great for Halloween. It was a little tough to scrub off that night but came off with an oil based face wash the next day!

This stuff looks okay on props. But I used my finger to smear it on a knife, wasn't on my skin for 45 seconds and stained the skin. Be very careful when applying. Otherwise it is descent. Did not work for what I bought it for originally, but I can find a use for it.
