I make a lot of synthetic dreads and have worked with quite a variety of fibers. I really like the Mayasa wavy fiber. It is soft and silky, it is easy to separate, and it doesn't fray. The fiber seems to feel lighter (though I use a scale to weigh out locks) and is easier to wear. I like how the fibers are a blend of colors for the root because it makes a more seamless transition from natural hair. The curl stays even in hot water (that's part of my detox process) but I have not tried boiling water because I wouldn't want to ruin them. I'm looking forward to buying more from Mayasa.

I LOVE this hair! I used it to make mini loose passion twists and they came out amazing! I installed them on myself almost a month before taking this video, and they still look fresh and new today, no tangles, no shedding! And I let my hair run free at all times - I never wear bonnets or scarves, I sleep with it out and roll around on it laying down, and I put it in different hairstyles and mess with it all the time. This hair has held up better than any other crochet hair I've purchased. It could be partly because I did small twists with it, but even the loose ends haven't tangled at all like they have in the past with other brands. The only con is that they had a slightly bad smell, but I always ACV/conditioner rinse any hair I buy so that wasn't an issue. I will definitely purchase this hair again and I recommend it to everyone who compliments me on how great it looks!

The hair is beautiful, I love the length and the color combo! I used it for jumbo boho braids. To maintain the hair and prevent tangles, add gel immediately after styling, and reapply as needed. I will be repurchasing! The reason for 4 stars is the hair can get a little messy during styling, but it’s manageable.

I was SUPER excited to get this crotchet style done. By the time my stylist finished it had tangled so bad - I tried to work with this and it was shedding everywhere. The synthetic hair was entangled in my husband’s clothes, our couch, car- so embarrassing! I had to cut it out after 2 days. The tangles I have literally never seen anything this bad. My husband said my worst wig looked a thousand times better than this new style after one day. Never again. The hair doesn’t move, it’s like string caught in a fan. Definitely would not recommend. This hair in the pictures is after 2 days. No amount of oil could fix this. Super disappointed.

I've purchased this hair a few times. It's gorgeous, soft and very easy to install. Last a long time and I only every need about a pack & a half for my whole head so it's great value.

I had goddess/boho braids put in my hair and bought this hair to use as the wavy hair that sticks out of the braids. This picture is when I first got it done. It looked great the first few days, but it has started tangling to the point where I have had to cut out some of the tangles. Mind you, I am well experienced in caring for synthetic hair. I know how to make it last. I have rocked several crochet hairstyles in the past with no problem. I have been using a silicon spray and mousse to keep the tangling to a minimum. I also wear a silk bonnet at night, but it doesn't look as good to me anymore. Even the waves have lost their definition. This picture is when I first got it done. I'm probably going to the beauty supply store and see if I can find some similar hair that is silkier (think almost like doll hair) that won't tangle as easily or I may try to re-curl this hair with flexi rods in hot water. Also, if you buy this hair I would avoid putting it in buns, because it will stretch the wave out and it won't come back without recurling with hot water. I noticed there are other vendors on this site selling very similar hair. Proceed with caution.

Bought this hair for Bohemian box braids. I was having a hard time finding human hair that would match my braiding hair color and when I saw this I fell in love! Silky smooth texture and nearly tangle free. Separates easily and I'm 2+weeks into my braids and the texture is still soft. I did add Got2be glued BLACK hair gel to the curls to prolong the hair and it worked very well. Zero tangles with the ends to my braids but I did find some with the pieces left out but considering after all my braids I still had 2½ pks of hair left over. So when the free hanging pieces get frizzy or tangle I just take them out and crochet new pieces in. No big deal especially considering the price! Will buy over and over again

I do not recommend, it tangles and gets matted easily, it looked good for a few days but do not get this if you want your crochet to last weeks, I have to keep cutting it and detangling it and it's matted from the root. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL
