I'm a absolute beginner, I bought a trumpet with a mouthpiece and felt uncomfortable. Google tells me 7c is good for beginners and for the sake of £8 I decided to give it a go. I feel much more comfortable playing and feel a huge progression due to this. I don't know how it compares to other models but it's a win from me.
