Schlage F40 ACC 619 Accent Door Lever, Bed & Bath Privacy Lock, Satin Nickel

Just bought my first house and replaced every door knob/lever with these and other Schlage levers and locks. IMO, Schlage is known for its durability, warranty and quality. They were all easy to install. The company even has videos that can walk you through the install. I had to reverse one of the levers and that video came in handy as I had never done that. They all fit perfectly as well. I'm very happy with this line, they look very nice, operate smoothly and feel sturdy. I enjoy the uniform look it imparts throughout the house. Schlage products are not the cheapest, but I think you get what you pay for with these as I think these are a "one and done" situation and I will never have to replace them.

The old round doorknobs that these replaced were light weight and thin and often had screws that worked loose. These are heavier and feel like top quality. I bought this lever style because round knobs were getting harder to grip and turn due to arthritis in my wrist. Also, the old knobs had a lock button that turned but these have a push button lock that lets you know with certainty that the door is locked, and it unlocks by turning the inside handle. They look really good, I love the color, and I feel good that I made a small upgrade to make my house more senior friendly.

I love the look and shape of the handle and the color was as pictured. It was easy to install and fit nicely on the door without making any adjustments. The lock works great.

Quality seems to be good and it looks really nice and was exactly what we needed having a home full of drive-in latches. All the hardware was included in order to convert to the drive-in latch. The locking mechanism worked as expected. It was easy to convert over to this type of latch with the included directions.

It is NOT reversible REVISED: okay IT IS reversible, but I only figured that out by watching a u-tube video. It wasn't clear on the directions that the handle part can be swapped. I changed to 4 stars from 2, but could not give a 5 as the reversing part wasn't clear to me.

It's got a little pinhole in the exterior side of the lock. About the right size to poke a coathanger through to push the release, so you can open the door and extract whatever little drama queen just locked herself in the bathroom and then claimed the door was stuck so they weren't going to come out ever. CAUTION: It *is* a bit hard to get the two sides to line up. You'll know when it's right when the screw just glides in. If it's even a little off, the screw will be cross-threaded and stick. Do NOT use an electric drill/driver right away. Use your fingers to get it started, make sure the screw is going in easy, and THEN use the driver to finish it off. Otherwise you'll be stripping the threads, bending the screw and ruining the doorknob. You have been warned.

I originally bought 15 of these Matte Black Schlage Lever Door handles to replace all the old indoor handles we had in our house. They look beautiful on our white doors. I am a senior woman and did all the replacing myself. After I figured out how to remove the old handles it was a breeze putting these new ones on. It took about 10 to 15 minutes per door to remove and replace each handle.. The lever handles pull down easily to open the doors. They are sturdy work well and are a great value for the money. . All the hardware is included and I replaced all the hardware on my doors. They have excellent stability and should last years. I am extremely happy with my purchase. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great item cheaper than box store..

These handles are really pretty, sturdy and easy to use. I have 7 of these installed in my apartment and they match with my front door handle and lock. :)
