As a Log cabin owner using around 100 30” 1/2” rebar balusters cut to length from 10’ lengths made my 32’ front porch the simplest part of the project. It was remarkable! I can’t say enough about it. And a friend will be using it also for his interior staircase rebar baluster's. Just a little rounding of the crimp type cut to keep from sharp edge from digging into the wooden railings that were 9/16ths holes and was great. And the cutting blades are pretty much perfect. Can’t say enough about this model as a homeowner that wasn’t about to hacksaw nor grind cut indoors or outside!! Personally I think it’s contractor worthy.

I am not a full-time or even semi-frequent concrete installer. However I do have some experience with different types of rebar cutting from angle grinding, to the big $$$ bender/cutter units. I purchased this mid-range cutter to keep a small project on schedule. For its price point this is a great cutter. Smaller than I expected, this humble looking unit comes well packed in a metal case with foam inserts. I love whoever designed this as everything fits- even the extra cutter heads I bought just in case. I was able to make all the cuts I needed very quickly with none of the fire-hazard and other safety concerns associated with grinding metal. I cut #4 bar- 1/2 rebar. The action was smooth and those extra cutter heads remain to be used. Very happy with it so far and would recommend to anyone who needs a moderately priced cutter.

Great tool for its price. I've been in this business for 50 years and have had heavier duty vendors before which were very expensive although you have to be careful with your number #5 rebar 60 grade you have to make sure you bend it slowly and with the sides that are raised on a piece of rebar you have to make sure they're up and down.

This is amazing! it's cuts so fast! I wish I bought one years ago
