I ordered this product as a cheap replacement for my OEM horn after it broke. Seeking a bigger footprint for a small dollar amount, I decided on this product. First off, let me say how sturdy the build quality is. The compressor, the horns (even being plastic feel well made), and the mounting parts. I am not worried about any part of this breaking under normal driving conditions. Second, this horn is loud. Very VERY close to the advertised 135db, which is exactly what I was looking for. Even without a full sized air compressor, this product packs quite a punch. It is a very good choice for those looking for a powerful horn, but not wanting to pay for a full sized air compressor. Lastly, the ease of installation really made this product a full 5 stars for me. Even if you have minimal electrical/mechanical experience, installation is a breeze and can be done in as little at 15 minutes. Overall, I am VERY satisfied with this particular horn package and will probably be reordering this same one as a replacement in the event that mine does break.

Dropped my bike on the freeway when cars that wouldn't use their turn signals were trying to merge into my lane and all of the cars in front of me came to a sudden stop. A louder horn would've been very helpful. This is great for the price. Easy install until I realized my motorcycle had more fairing damage than I initially thought. The video doesn't do it justice. It sounds much louder and echos a little. I do wish it was a deeper tone but this will do fine.

A jet engine at take off is 140 decibels this it 135 so its pretty loud. One of the horns was cracked when i got it but it doesn't effect use, compressor seems high quality tho. Very easy to wire if you know what your doing with the relay, the directions were no help. YouTube will probably be your best friend if you need a walk thru. It fit well in my 2000 jeep xj compressor on front of the air box and horns behind. It comes with enough tube to face them forwards, very limited with the mounting points but just as long as they dont bounce around to much they should be alright. Nice for when people cut you off.

For the money this thing works great. Nice and loud. Loud enough to make you plug your ears if you’re right in front of it. I have had expensive “train horns” before. These aren’t that loud. But for the dollars spent, you won’t be disappointed. Made of pretty thin plastic. I got mine mounted with the hose provided but you might need more. Also some basic understanding of 12v wiring might help. Came with most parts needed. Everything came intact with nothing broken or missing. I wired it to a second horn switch. Over all I am beyond satisfied with what I got for the money spent.

I bought this air horn so my dinky Honda can actually get the attention of any other vehicle that wants to run me off the road. For that purpose, this air horn does that nicely. However, mounting the compressor to the car was quite a challenge. The main issue is the mounting slot that is cast into the side of the compressor housing and the measly hardware that comes in the packaging. First, the slot is angled in the inside location so when a bolt is tightened down, it works it's way down the slot and eventually falls out of the slot, effectively unmounting the compressor from the car. I ended up putting a hose clamp around the mounting slot so the bolt couldn't walk down the slot and would stay secure. Second, there are no lock washers in the kit so you have to crank down on the nuts and bolts to secure the compressor and horns and even then, you're never sure that the nuts aren't going to come loose and something will either start rattling or fall off. I ended up replacing the bolt with a longer one, installed lock washers and secured the grounding wire with a nylock nut. Third, the wimpy brackets that come in the kit leave a lot to be desired. When I finally got a bracket attached to the compressor, it didn't stick out far enough away from the computer body to be able to mount the compressor to the car. I ended up putting 2 brackets together and mounted the outermost bracket to the car but I had to drill the mounting hole larger to fit the bolt that carne with the original horn installation. As for the horns themselves, since I had to use 2 of the brackets on the compressor, there wasn't enough for both horns. So, I ended up reusing the horns from my old air horn and just used cable ties to secure them, which worked fine. Essentially, all I really needed was a new compressor. I've got a pair of nice horns to give away to anyone who wants them. I have the overall rating of this air horn a 3 stars but that's only because the compressor worked and I got it to make a loud sound. For mounting, I have it a 1 star but it should have been less.

This is worth the money for sure. If your on the edge of buying it, do it. You won't be disappointed. It's no train horn and it is higher pitched. But it is super loud and sounds like a mini train horn. It will scare the crap out if any teenager that thinks there smarter than you. I've had so much fun with it in the first couple of days of owning it. Might just buy a couple more just for the heck of it.

I waited to install the airhorn. It was more than 30 days before I opened the package for installation. The long horn had a broken diaphragm so i couldn't use it. Since I waited to install, I didn't file a complaint. I just ordered a second airhorn and installed it the day it arrived. The horn sounded great for the price. I went for a long ride and the long horn mount broke under wind pressure on the highway. I recommend if anyone wants to buy this item, use zip ties instead of the mount.

This horn sounds great. This here is a demonstration of the horn when all setup. Personally I couldn’t instal it myself so I went ahead and went to my local audio shop and well, they charged like 175. Not a bad price for the precise job they did. This unit is great. Loud sounding, very subtle. Can be used for negative or positive. To thank or to say f** you!! Great horn really. Thank you GAMPRO! Wouldn’t suggest trying to install yourself, very complicated.

Super pleased with this purchase. Yes, the horns themselves are plastic which depending on how you look at it is either a plus or a negative. Personally, I'd rather not have to deal with the inevitable rust on metal horns so this is a positive to me. The compressor is of good quality and the included wiring harness complete with relays is handy. The end result is a satisfying Ferrari sound which is exactly what I wanted for my motorcycle. For those saying that these horns are not loud or don't sound right there's a higher than average chance they didn't wire them up properly using the included relay. Trying to use a horn like this with a drastically higher amp draw versus the stock horns on most vehicles will indeed yield poor results - you MUST use the relay to ensure the compressor is getting proper amperage. Happy with the purchase and would order again.

I have bought many other horns on Amazon and this one by far has lasted the longest, is the loudest, acually sounds like a train, and comes with all the wiring you will need. Includes easy plug and play fuse and relay. And this one I have taken on long road trips way up north in Canada and as I'm driving in icy freezing rain, snow, ice the horn still works.. this is 100% the best horn you can buy on Amazon for how cheap it is no doubt about it! This is a true review and I was not paid to say this.. it really is just an Amazing horn for the money. The horn is on a 2006 ford escape and is loud asf exactly like a train.

I like the loudness of the horn. I had to disassemble part of the front of my truck to install it. The grill. Part of the front body molding. And had to remove the headlight assembly. Then I realized there was no hose shipped with the unit. Luckily, I found some hose to complete the job. Otherwise, I would have had to reassemble everything to go get hose. NOT HAPPY!! Also, the box it came in was damaged when it arrived but, like so many others have already said, what can I expect for the price? I'll tell you what I would expect. All the parts being in the box.
