Amazing Result!
I didn't know what to expect from this device but I'm really impressed! Sure it's expensive but it works great and makes quite a difference compared to drinking a regular can of Draught ๐๐ป Included in the box is the main device, twist on spout, usb charger and cleaning brush. It did take a while to fully charge out of the box, at least 3 hours ๐ it probably didn't need a full charge to be used but I decided to anyway. I did manage to get four uses out of it before I decided to charge it again so I'm not sure on the exact usage duration from full charge, so four cans is a decent amount of use without it running out of power! I have no idea how it works but during pouring it seems like it has some sort of air injection which gives the perfect pour ๐ It's easy to use, easy to clean and gives a great result!

Great Gift for Any Guinness Fan
I bought the Guinness Nitrosurge Device as a gift for my stepdad, and it was a great choice. Heโs a big Guinness fan and was really pleased with it. Itโs simple to use, pours a great-looking pint at home, and makes the whole experience feel a bit more special. For the price, I think it offers good value and makes an excellent gift for anyone who enjoys Guinness. If youโre looking for something a little different for a Guinness lover, Iโd definitely recommend it.

NOT just a gimmick! It actually gives a fantastic creamy pint!
I thoroughly expected this to be a gimmick, but I was nicely surprised as I bought myself it for Christmas, along with 12 Nitro cans. After happily drinking draught Guinness for many years, I can honestly say that the nitro cans along with the nitro device definitely pour a superior pint to what we get with the 30 year old "widget", another gimmick, which also improved the drink, AND stood the test of time. While the impact of the nitro isn't quite as huge as the widget was vs flat Guinness, it is very noticeably better than a draught can pour and dare I say it, most pub tap pours! You won't believe me until you try it for yourself, and there will be people who think the difference isn't worth the price increase per can, but I think about it this way; if we buy into this latest gimmick, then the prices of the cans will surely decrease as they become the new norm and a solid/reliable revenue stream for the makers. At the moment though, it feels like most people are waiting for the price to come down before they buy them, but as far as I'm concerned, they should be cheaper than the draught cans regardless, because a nitro can requires no Co2 or widget! Still though, Guinness are entitled to cash in on their latest gimmick for a while. because it truly is a lovely pour! I hope that the more people who join team nitro, the cheaper the cans will eventually get. But, for those of us who don't want to pay for nitro cans, there is a little trick that works brilliantly and costs nothing... You can use regular Guinness draught cans with the Nitro Surge! Yep, the only thing you need is a pin and about 2-3 minutes of patience! Pierce the draught can's lid, right inside the ring pulls groove, wait about 2-3 minutes for the gas to fully escape, and then open it and attach it to your nitro surge as normal, and you'll notice no difference to a nitro can! There is a catch for us who only have access to the 440ml cans, in that you'll have to pierce a 2nd can and then continue the pour in order to get to a full pint, which is quite annoying but the good news is that pint draught Guinness cans are already out and are slowly making their way into our local supermarkets! Regardless of which method you use, the nitro surge definitely adds quality to your pint, and for around ยฃ25, it's a worthwhile investment for any Guinness drinker. I think it deserves my 5 star review, as I honestly can't fault it, but the nitro cans and the near double price tag is a whole different story!

Pub quality at home
The Nitrosurge does exactly what it promises. If you like Guinness and want something close to pub quality at home, this is a solid buy. Once youโve used it a couple of times it becomes second nature. The surge itself makes a real difference. You get that proper cascade effect and a creamy head rather than a flat pour youโd normally get from a can. Taste wise, itโs noticeably smoother and closer to what youโd expect in a decent pub. The head holds well and the texture is spot on. Itโs not a gimmick, it actually improves the drinking experience. Build quality feels good and itโs compact enough to live in a kitchen drawer without being a pain. Battery life has been fine so far and it charges quickly. Is it essential? No. Is it worth it if you drink Guinness at home regularly? Definitely. It turns a normal can into something that feels a lot more premium. Iโd happily recommend it.

Great for an at-home pour!
Great gadget for enjoying Guinness at home. The Nitrosurge tap creates a smooth, creamy head and gives a much more authentic draught-style pour compared to a standard can. Itโs easy to use, compact, and adds a nice sense of occasion to pouring a pint. While it doesnโt completely replace a pub pour, it comes very close and makes a noticeable difference in taste and texture. Ideal for having guests over and parties as itโs also a little bit of fun. Can be a little tricky to work out for the perfect pour though, and frustrating you have to buy specific cans!

Brilliant bit of Kit
I love a pint of Guinness, and this little device is a game-changer if you like a drink at home. The device comes in a nice little box with a charging lead, brush and a spout. The Nitrosurge cans are more expensive, but you get a full pint, and honestly, when used with the device, it gives a brilliant drink, and the creamy head is just what you want with Guinness I was a bit sceptical at first, but it's not a gimmick. I have yet to try it with other Nitrrosurge stouts from other brands, but from what I've seen, it fits all the cans and pours a lovely pint.

Nice device
A great little product. This and a can of nitrosurge Guinness is the closest to a pub point as youโll get.

Let the cans settle and you will be rewarded
The trick to using this device is to make sure your cans have rested in the fridge for at the very least 24 hours but 48 hours is more like it. If you get any kind of froth out of your can when you open it then you are not going to get proper results. I thought I had a faulty device at first as it was taking forever to fully charge from new but then discovered eight hours is what Guinness says it should take to charge. The first few tries when I used the device nothing happened, no surge or anything and I thought again that I had a faulty device but I hadn't let my cans settle long enough and I was getting froth when I opened them as I mentioned above and the beer didn't taste great, quite a watery taste. My third attempt was a success with a can that was sitting for 48 hours from when I bought it home. Absolutely lovely pint with that perfect creamy head! I've also tried Aldi's stout with this device and it works perfectly and in my opinion tastes better than Guinness and of course a fair bit cheaper! A great purchase at the discounted price!
