GTX 401 4-Inch 240W 4-Way Coaxial Car Audio Speaker

I got these for mids for a set up for my computer, they are very crisp and clear. I have listened to them every day for over a month and they sould much better then any pre made setup I could have found for about half of the cost

I bought these as part of hubby's Christmas gift. He says they sound good. He's wondering if replacing the car stero would help get the sound even better. ( It's a 2001 car with the original stereo.)

Sound great for 4 inch speakers

Plastic trim face came broken. Can't find an option to get a new one sent without going through the return process. They dont sound very good either. My other blaupunkt speakers always sounded great. Not these.

My 2004 Sprinter Camper Conversion Van has only two 4" speakers in the front corners of the dashboard. There's a lot of noise from the diesel engine, and camping equipment bouncing around. So, when we want to hear the radio/stereo while driving, we have to crank it up. I replaced the original speakers with a Pioneer TS-G1045R pair, but they blew out fairly quickly. Now, I've replaced those with Blaupunkt GTS 401 pair. These now sound good (for 4" dash speakers). But we'll have to see how well these hold up after a few long driving/listening stints. My "radio" is a LEXXSON JSD-520 60Wx4. This is an amazing value.

Speaker sound it good for the price. Blaupunkt is a label that can be put on anything. It use to be a product that stood for something. Not anymore. The speaker grills look nice, but they are of incredibly cheap plastic that will brake. I thought that other people rating these speakers were just being to careless while mounting them, but no. They're just real cheap.

Ease of installation

meh. they buzz and vibrate when you get too much volume and bass on them. they work, but not that great

GOOD

Great 4 inch speakers. Direct fit for my 1979 MGB. Clear and great sound even on highway speed with top down.
