Is this a zippered bag or magnetic close bag?

The two straps on the outside are magnetic but when you open it by pulling the top part back it’s a zipper closure to protect the items on the inside

Definitely! The laptop I’ve been toting around in it is 17.5 inches and it even fits in the cushioned compartment perfectly!

Is this the same bag as the vintage love briefcase on the ecosusi website? it looks almost identical but the price point is way higher over there.

I am not sure, but it does look like the exact same briefcase. I have found items that are priced quite differently. Nice briefcase, but not huge space inside. It works for what is needed though. Good luck with your purchase!

Can this be used for college?

Eh it depends. It’s not as big as I thought it would be. I can only fit my laptop my planner and a pencil case no other books really fit without making it really stuffed. If you’re cool with only bringing your laptop then go for it, but if you like to bring books and what not it’s too small.
