Does it keep water hot enough to make instant noodles at lunch if the water is boiled in the morning?

I don't use and haven't used it to hold boiled water for hours. I use it to keep food warm for lunch which it does quite well. For best results, I fill it up with boiling water in the morning for up to half an hour, then pour it out before putting the hot lunch in it. It keeps the food more than warm.
