First things first; this product has a great taste AND texture! I've tried nearly 50 different vegan protien brands/products an this is by far the best. I use it every morning in my breakfast smoothy with great results. The quality ingredients of this Sport product digest well and don't have the chalky consistency that many other products do. I have mixed it with just water and it's decent. I've introduced several friends to this product and they have had similar feedback regarding digestion & taste The flavor is pretty good, they used to make a strawberry that was a lil odd- but chocolate is my go-to and the vanilla is also good Lastly is effectiveness- I'm vegan except for fish and eggs (Pescatarian) and have stomach issues with dairy. A balanced & diverse blend of protien sources includes: pea, navy beans, lentil, cranberry, and sprouted garbanzo. It's got a comprehensive Amino Acid complex as well! I've found most vegan products have a lot of sugar or sweeteners, this is mostly organic and digests well If your looking for vegan protien with great value (approx $2.²⁵ per serving), that provides a clean & balanced profile of protiens, w/out a bunch of sugar or fillers (gellan/acacia gum or similar) this is a great product I highly recommend!

I really like this because it is organic, vegan, and has the BCAA's Branched Chain Amino Acids. BCAA powder by itself tastes so nasty. This tastes just fine. To avoid getting too much protein I use one scoop (half a serving) of this plus one scoop of Spiru Tein unsweetened or Happy Viking, plus a type 2 collagen and a magnesium supplement. I strength train and do other strenuous exercise for pain management and to protect my bones from falls. I'm not a doctor but going by how I feel this regimen helps me a lot. The only thing that bothers me is the huge plastic container. At least it is recyclable I guess.

I’m really impressed with both the chocolate and even more so vanilla flavor!! I’m super picky about ingredients and taste; I can’t stand that fake sweetener artificial taste or pea/rice flavor most vegan protein powders have. I have never found a protein powder I could drink straight, but this stuff is IT! To be fair as others have stated the chocolate doesn’t taste like “real” chocolate, but it still tastes really good! And let’s get real guys, if you’re not eating synthetic “natural” flavor crap and expecting real chocolate taste in a protein powder...go eat real chocolate! I cannot even stand the GoL meal in chocolate flavor mixed with fruit and many other things trying to mask it. This sport one I can mix with 4oz of almond milk and 2oz of water and drink it straight without grimacing, and actually enjoying it! This is a first for me!! And the vanilla flavor is way better! It tastes like dessert. I look forward to this everyday when I used to loathe having to make a protein shake. For a real treat I’ll blend with a banana and WOW! I’m really happy with this variety!!!

Overall, I would give this a 4.5* out of 5* rating. Nutrients/Ingredients : 5*, Per 2 scoop serving, more protein than the Orgain I was using previously (21g/2scoops.) It has a good amino acid content already in the protein, so that means you don't need a separate supplement for BCAAs, also it has glutamine and probiotics. TASTE: 5* I have not tried the vanilla, but, all chocolate proteins will taste different in my experience. This does taste a little different/less chocolaty than the Orgain chocolate. It still tastes good to me, and I have no complaints on the taste. TEXTURE: 4* It is a little bit "grainy" or "chalky" compared to all the other plant proteins I have tried. It doesn't mix very well with natural peanut butter powder. I used to mix the chocolate fudge Orgain with 2 scoops protein powder and 1 scoop natural peanut butter powder, and it mixed great, nice and smooth. When I tried to mix this with the peanut butter powder, it made it a bit more chalky in consistency, and not as smooth or easy do drink. This is a bit thick (not a complaint, just FYI) compared to others even when mixed with the same amount of water/almond milk. MIXING: 4* This is my only real complaint. I have mixed other plant proteins with water or almond milk in a 16 oz plastic shaker bottle without even using the shaker agitator. I could put other brands of plant protein on the bottom or top of the liquid and shake, and it would 100% mixed. This will stick, in small areas, to the bottom after shook when the protein powder is added before the liquid, even with the plastic agitator in the blender bottle. When added after the liquid is already in the shaker bottle I always have a little dry spot of powder right under the flip open lid on the blender bottle, even when using the agitator in the bottle. It seems to always have some small clumps in it which doesn't really bother me. Also, this seems to separate even within a few minutes after the bottle is stationary, requiring mixing again before drinking. Overall, I am very happy to have tried this! This eliminated the need for additional BCAA supplements, also it has glutamine, both aid in muscle recovery after workouts. As an added bonus this also has a probiotic blend in it. The only thing holding back a 5 star rating from me is the slightly hard to mix nature of this protein powder. The other small negative things can be overlooked by me because of all of the other benefits! I understand it's very hard to make anything 100% perfect, there are pros and cons to anything in life. I will be ordering more soon! P.S. I see the price goes up and down at least $15 for this in the same flavor. When I first ordered it, it was just over $21.xx, (which I is what I was paying for my previous protein, so I figured I'd give it a shot.) Then it went up to $38.xx, and is now back down to $20.xx. I'm not sure why the price fluctuates that greatly, I would happily pay $20-$21 for it, but I wouldn't want to constantly be buying it at almost 2x that price.

This is one trusted protein powder that is good for your health hands down. I like the fact that its quality ingrediants are certified. Just started on this protein powder recently; waiting to see if it works as advertised. I purchased the chocolate flavor 30 grams of protein and not a big fan of the taste. Where is the real dark chocolate taste?

I'd like to start out by saying it's been hard for me to find a vegan protein substitute that hit's all the right markers for me, no soy, high protein content(30g at least), BCAA, and tastes good. So at first introduction, I loved this stuff especially because it tastes great. However, If I start using it consistently on a daily basis I start getting backed up. No amount of water or fiber made a difference. Finally one day after drinking I woke up with extreme pain in my gut. I was unable to make a bowel movement or pass gas. The pain would come in waves and I frequently would have to sit down as I could not stand. The pain kept getting worse and I had to stop eating entirely, on the third morning I went to the emergency room. A CT scan showed I was of constipated to the point of total blockage. Ironic considering my high fiber vegan diet usually causes me to go 3 healthy times a day without issue. I ended up having to go home with a gallon of the juice they give to people before they get a colonoscopy and then spend 5 hours on the toilet blowing out liquid the color of this protein shake out my backside in what amounted to the second-worst physical pain i've ever experienced(kidney stones number one). I don't know why this stuff act's like instant cement in my stomach but i'm going have to try something else. I'm sorry for the grotesque nature of this review, It was, however, a very painful and harrowing experience for me and if I can save even one person from going through the hell I went through last night it's worth the time to write this review.

If you're an athlete on a plant based diet, this is a must have in your nutrition plan. High protein intake per serving, good taste and additional supplements in one product.

I bought two containers and unfortunately after few drinks i developed huge bladder pain and i wasn't able to pee normally. Very strange as i tried different plant based proteins and i felt always good about. Feels like my kidney don't like this so who knows what is inside of that product. 0 starts for me. I will go back to weight protein
