Since this desk had no reviews i felt obligated to not let such a great desk go unkown. The desk top is 100% real wood, not particle board or mdf. The stained finish is great and all holes for the metal legs and wood top lined up perfectly. In 20 minutes i had the desk installed an in use. This is my 10 year olds first desk and he loves it. All other desks in this price range on amazon are particle board and laminate or mdf and laminate. Great buy dont pass it up.

Assembly took about 35 minutes. Very solid construction.

Exactly what we wanted. It was a little difficult to assemble but once we got it together, we were very happy with our purchase.

Even though it is stated as real wood, it's VERY lightweight and scratches very easily. So don't expect to write on it, or place anything sharp on the table. I feel like a big portion of the price goes to cover shipping, so you'll probably get much more for the value if you buy locally, even if it's a bit more expensive. However, it does assemble pretty easily.
