Are the peics numbered?

Yes. The pieces are all numbered and are easily indetified. I would encourage you to lightly rub warm water into the pieces (hood and rear fenders) that are striated and must fold. I learned "the hard way" that will prevent them from breaking. If you work carefully, you should find this a very rewardikng project.

Is there a connecting trailer that goes with set for sale?

YES THERES AT LEAST 3 DIFFERENT TRAILERS

The wheels do rotate but I wouldn't suggest playing with it like you would a toy truck.
