Difficult to know if it is actually effective as a blue light shield; however if anything it is a glorified moisturizer. I did notice my skin is softer. I also feel like it doesn't spread very well, so you kinda need a lot of product each time, meaning you will need to repurchase often. As for the scent, it doesn't really have one.

I have been looking for a proper mattifying primer for MONTHS. I’ve tried high end ones thinking they must work for me since they have decent reviews... but no. I’m always left disappointed.I came across this and decided to try again to find something that works.. and lo and behold, my new favorite go-to primer! My face gets so oily very quickly. It’s so oily, I’m surprised America hasn’t tried to invade my forehead yet. I am constantly dabbing my face with toilet paper when I’m at work trying to blot out some of the oil spills.This WORKS. Just dab a tiny bit wherever you need it and rub in gently (a little goes a long way) Wait until it dries COMPLETELY before you apply any makeup (for me usually 3-5 minutes). And voila! You will be shine free almost the whole day (I won’t say ALL day bc there’s usually traces of shine after 8 hours of working in a hospital)Invest in this. I promise you won’t regret it! :)

This is my favorite primer and normally buy it Sephora. Since I am not traveling, I decided to order it via Amazon. It looks like the bottle I normally buy but I feel that there was something a bit off with this. The tube was not packed or full. I know this because I sort of finished this way too soon that I normally do - mind you, I do not wear makeup everyday. When I press on the product, it does not flow out like it should be but tends to squirt out therefore, I end up with more than what I need. Secondly, although the texture is what I am accustomed to, I felt that it lack a bit of its velvety quality. I can see a lot of air bubbles in the product. Perhaps, I should have looked at the expiration date for this....next time, I will definitely look at all the fine print before I open /use it.

I ordered the sample/travel size because I don't have money to throw away, and the one I received had barely any product in it. There is no way it had the amount they advertised. The bottle was already very small and it was more than half empty and i had to hit it on my palm multiple times to get the product out and I had to squeeze almost the entire bottle completely flat to get barely any product out and when i did I put it on my face and it did not do what the description says. I was waiting for a glass like smooth surface but it felt like a tacky gel then dried to nothing. Not impressed so i returned it.

I love this product! Great for days you want to wear less makeup but still look like you put something on. Or great for people who want to look like they put makeup on but don’t want to put in a ton of effort. I am on my second bottle. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
