I bought two (2) 1.75lb jars approximately three weeks apart. The first jar purchased arrived boxed nicely and packaged cleanly inside of an air-tight plastic bag; however the second jar purchased didn't arive clean in a plastic bag. Instead, my jar has a layer of charcoal above the paper lid seal I found after unscrewing the jar open. It made a small mess - a minor annoyance. Great product and fast shipping otherwise!

There is sand in it! You can see these white bits and I was crunching sand in my mouth after. Been taking charcoal for the last 5 years and never experienced this with any other brand. Im guessing they didn’t wash the coconuts they picked up off the beach before they sent them into the fire or they are burning them right on the beach. Either way it’s way too Organic for me. I want my charcoal without the beach in my teeth.

I love this brand. I makes great DIY oral hygiene products with it. I've increased the size I used to order.

It is very gritty. I I've tried getting used to the texture but it's bad. Not processed finely enough for being from coconut shells
