This pole base is sturdy, and it keeps the bottom of your pole fixed in place while you get your cover situated. When I ordered, I missed the "GUARANTEED TO FIT VICO SUPPORT POLES ONLY" text. I guess that I should have purchased the three-piece setup with the boat vent, pole and base.

Doesn’t fit all poles, but is well made.
This didn’t fit our existing cover vent pole, however it appear to be of great quality.
