Wise Owl Outfitters Camping Hammock, up to 500lbs, Single or Double

This product exceeded my expectations. The stretchability is excellent and it feels very sturdy and well made. You can tell right away it’s built with safety and durability in mind. The bug protection works perfectly, which makes it ideal for outdoor use. I really like the straps, they are strong and easy to adjust, and the whole setup is very portable. It folds down nicely and is easy to carry or store without taking much space. It’s perfect for camping, but honestly it also works great for other occasions like backyard use, trips, or even emergencies. Overall, very good quality, easy to transport, and well thought-out design. Definitely worth it.

Exceptional product. I bought the SingleOwl camping hammock and received everything in perfect condition. The product came with two very rugged carabiners already attached, one at each end. The hammock has its own storage pouch stitched to the side of the hammock. This is very convenient to roll the entire product up and invert into its own pouch for storage and transport. When compressed into the pouch the product, including carabiners, takes up a tubular shape that measure about 5 inches high by 4 inches in diameter. I guess it weighs about a pound. The nylon is woven, very thin, and extremely strong - thought at first appearance you wouldn't guess it's as strong as it is. The stitching appears to be very high quality; I was not able to find any defects on the hammock I received. The product comes with two detached nylon ropes about 8-ft in length each. I suppose these ropes would be adequate to suspend the hammock, but I haven't used them. The nylon is a broad woven material that has less "sheen" than you'd expect for nylon - it appears to be more like parachute material, and less like the nylon used on tents. It is somewhat breathable. I'm an average sized guy, about 6'1", 170lbs. This hammock is plenty long enough to be comfortable. The contrasting colored side flaps do, in fact, have enough width to cover a person when laying in the hammock - like a cocoon - but there is nothing to keep them closed. I thought this might be worth mentioning for anyone that was interested. Other than perhaps keeping mosquitoes or other bugs out, I can't imagine why you'd want this, but you can. This is a good product for a good price. If you're in the market for this type of hammock, I can highly recommend this brand. I also purchased GONEX Hammock straps. This $12 accessory was more cost-effective than other options and still great quality. I definitely recommend hammock straps as an accessory - these will make hanging the hammock MUCH easier and considerably faster. I think the flat webbing of good hammock straps tend to hold the hammock more securely around trees, but that's just me.

This is a solid product. I actually have two (a single, and a double) that I swap out. I suggest darker colors, which show less wear and tear. It’s very durable, and washable (delicate cycle for me). With that said, I mainly use it on weekends, so I don’t leave it in the elements for extended periods of time. It’s easy to put up and take down, so no big deal. Overall, a good purchase. Life gets busy, so take some time to relax and enjoy.

I've been hammocking for over a decade now, and I've owned all kinds of hammocks from Eno's to noname hammocks from Walmart, and there's a surprising wide variety of quality between them. Now the good, This hammock is a very nice quality. The fabric is light and smooth, and the stitching is really solid. It seems like a very well constructed hammock, 9 feet long (the same as an Eno) and has a nice bit of nylon webbing in place of rope, and it seems very solid. I think that these little details will keep the hammock going for years, and years. The downsides are you get what you pay for. The straps, while it's good they came with the hammock, are pretty lackluster. They're very skinny and do not have as many attachment points as some nicer straps. They're perfectly fine if you're a casual hammocker, or you're looking to get into it and see if it's right for you, but a nicer pair of straps are worth it. Castaway is a hammock brand I've purchased at Sam's Club, and not only did they include rather nice straps, but the stuff sack had a separate compartment built in for the straps. The Carabiners are nice, black anodized, but I prefer the wire ones, as they're lighter and packer easier. The color selection is nice, but I'd really like to see some novel patterns. Tie Dye or maybe some geometric patterns to really make you stand out in a park or a festival would be so fun. In closing, a good average hammock that has everything you need to get started.

The Wise Owl hammock exceeded my expectations. The material feels very strong yet comfortable. It’s comes with everything needed to use it right away: tree straps, carabiners, and a compact storage bag. Setup is quick and easy, even for beginners. Perfect for camping, the beach, the backyard, or traveling. It’s lightweight, packs small, and after multiple uses, it still looks like new. Excellent quality for the price. Great hammock easy to set up and pack away , nice long straps as well with 3 different points to clip to for adjustments. It’s only downfall would be no mosquito netting as for around the same price you can get one with a net so if you live in the uk like me or a place with bugs that will bite you go for a netted one other wise this hammock is great

Für den Preis richig gut. Es dürfte nur kompliziert werden, nach Gebrauch die hängematte in die vorgesehene Tasche zu stopfen. Aber unser Junge nutzt sie gern im Kinderzimmer.
