Works well; RECHARGEABILITY is a HUGE PLUS!
UPDATE - battery life after 20 hours of use (previously I stated 10-12 hours of use but did not take into account the use of the HRM while warming up & cooling down & stretching time) - I don't always run with this HRM strap, only for speed work & runs over 12 miles. - The battery ran out after about 20 hours of actual use. Exact longevity of a charge is not know as I don't always remember to record that I used the strap for a run. - The battery charged up in about an hour or so. It shouldn't take long as it can't be very large. UPDATE Note 2 - This HRM does not provide running dynamics data, not does it claim to do so. Just pointing this out if this is important to you. My now dead Garmin HRM RUN supported running dynamics data. Depending on your watch, your watch may provide most of Garmin's running dynamics data such as: vertical oscillation & ratio; cadence; ground connect time , data that my Forerunner 955 & FENIX 6 pro does provide. What I am missing is LEFT / RIGHT balance as a watch cannot measure this but the Garmin HRM RUN can (did), which is not important to me. Anyway, just pointing out that if you are replacing a Garmin HRM that supports running dynamics, be aware of the limitations. So far so good. My last Garmin OEM red HRM Run monitor died and I also didn't like having to buy and properly dispose of batteries so I was glad to find this one with a rechargeable battery and at a great price. The charging base has a USB-C port which is nice. Also nice is that it is both ANT+ (for Garmin watches) and BLUETOOTH compatible which I have used with my Android phone's fitness app. Seems to be accurate. This is being used primarily for running with a Garmin 955 Solar and secondarily with a Fenix 6 Sapphire. My older black Garmin HRM Run with the removable pod always SPIKED badly for the first mile or 2, with readings above 200 bpm. The dead RED Garmin HRM-RUN did not spike but it died. This FitCent monitor does not exhibit the spiking so it functions similarly to my dead Garmin Red HRM Run monitor. The strap is at least as comfortable as a Garmin strap. The transmitter pod is slightly larger than the strap but this has not caused any issues. The older black Garmin HRM with removable transmitter was also also slightly larger than strap. NOTE the FITCENT worked with my older black Garmin strap and vice versa. The spacing of the snap buttons are the same between the FITCENT & the older Garmin straps making them compatible. I have used this for just for a handful of runs including some sprint intervals and will report back with an update after 50 miles or so of use. Only thing I didn't liked is that there is a front blinking light that blinks when it is paired with and transmitting to my watch or my phone. because the blinking is VISIBLE through my running shirt. I fixed that by wrapping a rubber band around that part of the transmitter pod - see pic. RECOMMENDED

Works great with DDPY
So far I'm loving it. It works very well and synced up with my DDPY with no issues. The battery life seems to be holding pretty well even though I charge it after each workout so I have yet to run out of battery.

Arctic bears have some competition
For the accuracy and the convenience this cant be beat, I owned the big name, much pricier competitor that has the watch battery (more like watch the battery need replacing all the time). This is better choice when price and long term battery cost are considered. I returned the Polar when the battery died after 2 weeks. It took a lot of effort to find an affordable alternative to the white bear brand chest strap that worked with my "legacy" Bowflex, SOLE, and True Fitness machines (I like HR zone programs) It needs recharged every few workouts (I tend to charge before necessary as a habit). It doesn't seem to hold the 5.3 kHz quite as well as the expensive one...But its fine on bluetooth. The band doesn't have the buckle like the big brand (but thats plastic anyway so toss up). As long as you adjust your expectations of the ecg device you will understand why its hard to find a solid 5 STAR item in this category. Not that optical sensors are sure winners either.

Doesn’t hold up to its claims
I purchased this HR monitor when my Wahoo Ticker finally crapped out. It checked all the boxes for me: wireless charging via usb-c, claimed compatibility with my apps, peloton bike+, strava, Nike run. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get it to pair with any of my apps and devices. The HR monitor actually rejected the pairing with the peloton bike+! Back it goes!

Better Than My Garmin AND Great Customer Support
I love Garmin products and had one of their heart rate straps, but it seemed to burn through batteries like crazy (and required a small screwdriver to replace the throw-away battery each time...a hassle.) This strap from FITCENT has been terrific -- reliable, comfortable, the battery seems to last MUCH longer, AND it's rechargeable. I use mine with both my bike-mounted Garmin Edge and also when I use the Zwift online cycling program -- it pairs easily with both of them and works great. PLUS... I lost my charger, and when I contacted FITCENT they immediately shipped me a new one -- great customer service!

it works. its a lot more affordable than the alternatives
Have had this for a few months, works as it should, all I wanted was the HR, so those who want something more from this device, I can't comment. It disconnected itself once from my bike computer during a ride. That concerned me. But I deleted it from the computer and re-added it and it is working just fine again. The charge lasts for days.

Great Alternative for Garmin Chest Strap Transponder
I bought this because of the short battery life with my Garmin chest strap transponder & its obscure miniature screws it uses. The Fitcent fits perfectly on my Garmin strap & my Garmin Instinct paired with it immediately. It gives reliable, steady readouts. Problem solved.

Great Rechargeable
Great rechargeable replacement for my SigmaSport ROX 11 cycling computer. Not having to buy and replace little button batteries all the time is amazing. Pairing to my unit was quick and no fuss. Same with pairing to Strava app on my phone. Blinking light doesn’t seem to change color but I use it outside so don’t know for sure as I’m not looking at it while cycling. It does turn solid green when it’s finished charging. I wish it would turn red when charging is needed, as it is there is no way to know. Also it blinks sometimes when I’m not wearing it, so I unclip the sensor from the strap to make sure it isn’t running out prematurely. The sensor clips securely onto the strap, the strap hook is secure and I’ve never had it come loose around my chest. The charging dock is wonderful, to not have to plug/unplug a wire every time is very convenient. Great quality and great product.

Very impressed
I also own a Polar10. Except for the strap, this is better than the Polar H10 on all counts and much cheaper. It connects easily to all the machines in the gym, even those that the Polar struggles with. It also connects to my Samsung Watch 4 via Google Fit. I love the fact that it's rechargeable. I'm not sure how long a single charge lasts but after 40 hours of use, is still showing as high. The led light is also useful, in that it confirms that the device is working fine. I had a couple of queries for the company and they seem to be very responsive and helpful. They probably need to develop their own app to tweak the settings on the device but Polar Beat and Strava work just fine. I cannot connect the Fitcent to my mobile and the watch at the same time but that's not a big issue for me. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Ottimo prodotto
