Quality and price
This works really good with a Whirlpool model. I have brought others here from Amazon but they just blow out. It's been over a Month now and the microwave works flawless

Recommended. (check your measurements first!)
The motor/gears in our ~5 year old microwave stripped out, so turntable didn't anymore. This was a perfect 1 for 1 replacement, bolted right in and works perfectly.

Works
Worked for about 1.5 years then had to buy another. Cheap enough I guess but seems like it should last longer

Perfect fit and specifications for a replacement motor for my LG microwave.
The motor arrived quickly and was an exact replacement for my LG turntable motor. Everything lined up perfectly, mounting screws and wiring harness. The shaft design was slightly different but fit exactly. My one concern was that it did not seem to be exactly perpendicular to the body of the motor. Don't know if this is by design or a defect. I will report back when it has been running for a significant enough amount of time to speak to its longevity. Don't know whether this was a rebuilt motor or new as the listing does not specify. As others here have said this is an incredibly simple fix and quite expensive if done by a repair person. MAKE SURE TO UNPLUG YOUR MICROWAVE FIRST! Btw, if you have an LG microwave with an ExtendaVent, there are four screws on the outermost edge on each side underneath the microwave. These are the ONLY ones that need to be removed. DON"T remove the screws for the lights further in - unnecessary. Also, put a tall box on your stove to lower the ExtendaVent onto. Make sure it is within a few inches of the bottom of the ExtendaVent. You do not want to risk ripping out the wiring harness. You will have to pull the ExtendaVent out slightly towards you after the screws are removed. There is only one cable harness that is easily unclipped that you will have to remove to gain access to the motor. The cable ends are keyed so it is easily reconnected. Just tilt the left side of the ExtendaVent down while you unclip it. An extra set of hands is helpful for this maneuver but you can manage it yourself if need be. Then just lay the vent to the side and replace the motor. Easier than it sounds. Don't forget to plug the microwave back in after reassembly.

Works in my LG Over the range microwave
It’s quite easy to install once you drop the bottom of the microwave. Mode had 8 short screws. You’ll probably want two people. One to unscrew, one to hold the bottom part. Disconnect the light, and the bottom can be taken away to be cleaned with hot soapy water… outside in a baby pool or something. Ours was disgusting. Back to the motor… a quick two small screws out and disconnect the plug and viola, the old motor is out. Stick the new motor back the same way, two screws in, and push the little plastic piece in from above and you are done with the motor. Cleaning and attaching the bottom is straightforward as well. Took us about an hour total with cleaning the greasy gunk from the bottom. Very satisfying though. Good luck!

Do not buy
My LG microwave oven turntable was not working correctly (Random change rotation direction). I decided to buy new motor, same part #. As I understand it should rotate CCW as you apply ~120v. And yes, it was.... for a day or two. Now it is doing exactly the same: one time rotation is CW, next time is opposite: CCW. I do not care, but it makes clicking noise and jerking the turn table when rotation direction is not correct. SP ELEMESH is a JUNK!
