Great product perfect price super hot water
So this is my fourth one that I purchased from Amazon for my home they are so good. They work well and they’re excellent one. The heat went out one. The electric went out. I don’t remember with the other two, but I don’t think that’s bad for my first install in 1990 and we use it all the time every day multiple times a day.

Works well!
My former hot water tank started leaking and was not repairable so I bought this one to replace it. It is super easy to install though a second set of hands can speed along the process. The faucet is also easy to install. It works perfectly to dispense instant hot water to rinse off dishes (great on greasy items), to warm up a cup before pouring coffee or tea, or get super hot water to boil for pasta. The hot water dispenser can also be used to rinse off sticky honey jars, loosen metal lids on glass jars, wet a cloth to clean counters and other areas, rinse off a serving spoon before reusing, heat a knife before cutting a flourless chocolate cake, or warming a spoon before digging into a rock hard carton of ice cream! Get it as you'll never imagine how you managed without one!

Easy as putting a new faucet onto a sink - requires separate power from disposal.
If you are comfortable putting a new faucet onto a sink then this should be no trouble for you. A pro plumber should have no trouble at all. All you need is a spare hole in the counter where you want the hot tap to go, and a 115v socket under the sink where you want the main unit to go. Keep in mind that the socket will need to be hot at all times to keep the water in the tank hot. My socket was switched so that it controlls the garbage disposal. I was replacing my disposal at the same time, so I added an insinkerator countertop switch (requires another spare countertop hole). Now I just leave the wall switch on, which keeps the HOT150 powered, and use the counter switch to turn the disposal on & off. If i want the hot water off like if I'm off on vacation, I can just flip the wall switch. If you don't have a countertop hole for this, you might need to rewire your under-sink socket so it has a switched socket, and an always-hot socket. The water lines provided are somewhat short, so I got a 18in piece of braided stainless hose and adapted it to the lines from the unit. The unit uses a 1/4" copper tube as its main feed line, so you will need to purchase a T-fitting to add a new outlet on your sink's supply to feed the unit, and a compression fitting for the copper line, plus whatever other tubes and adapters. In my setup I have a standard sink tee->braided hose->stepdown adapter->compression fitting. you may wind up with something a little different depending on if you need the extra hose and what fittings your store carries. once you have all the connection bits its really plug and play: drop the faucet in from the top, screw the unit to the wall, plug in the lines from the faucet to the unit, connect the copper feed to the sink supply. Then you flush the unit for a couple of min and plug it in. Job done. In operation its pretty simple. I didn't flush as carefully as the instructions say and I did get some gurgling noise when its heating for the first day or two. I also found that when turned all the way up it actually boils the water inside. Possibly due to some air pockets, but I'd leave it set at 75% or lower to start, as it can definitely heat up above 212deg in some cases. safer to start on the cool side and bump it up till you get the temp you want. After I got the temp dialed in and the air flushed out its been quiet and excellent. I live a lone so I'm making single drinks at a time - I don't know if larger families might find the reservoir too small. Overall if basic plumbing (and possibly a little electric work) don't bother you this should be easy to install and seems to be a nice unit.

Instant Hot Water
These devices initially seemed like an extravagance to us. The first one we had was part of a new house package we bought. Through our experience we have come to depend on these Instant Hot Water Heaters. We are now on our third or fourth unit, the last couple being Insinkerators. While the heaters work very well and reliably, the failure point seems to be the flow control valve which eventually starts to leak after10 or 12 years. Without the leaking valve issue, I would have rated it at a 5 Star.

game-changer for my daily routine
I recently installed the InSinkErator H-HOT150SN-SS Instant Hot Water Dispenser in my kitchen, and it has been a game-changer for my daily routine. This dispenser provides hot water instantly, which is incredibly convenient for making tea, coffee, or even speeding up meal prep. The installation process was straightforward, and the unit fits neatly under the sink without taking up too much space. The satin nickel finish on the dispenser faucet looks sleek and modern, complementing my kitchen decor beautifully. One of the standout features is the adjustable temperature control, allowing me to set the water temperature to my preference. The hot water is delivered consistently and quickly, which saves me time and energy compared to using a kettle or microwave. The dispenser is also energy-efficient, as it only heats the water when needed, reducing overall energy consumption. The tank capacity is sufficient for my household's needs, and I appreciate the safety features that prevent accidental dispensing of hot water. Overall, the InSinkErator H-HOT150SN-SS Instant Hot Water Dispenser is a high-quality and reliable product that adds convenience and efficiency to my kitchen. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to streamline their kitchen tasks with instant hot water access.

Great time saver!
I’m thrilled to finally receive my Hot Water Dispenser.. I drink hot tea every day and this thing is definitely a time saver, plus I don’t have to use a pot on the stove. So wonderful for tea and for having instant hot water when needed for other foods. Love it!

This was to replace the one we had. Works fantastic. Once you have this you will wonder how you lived without it before! No kettle to wait for, instant coffee, hot chocolate, tea ready in seconds.

Good quality and very functional...glad I purchased the lever action rather than the push button...like the way that the lever springs back (safety). My plumber installed it when he was doing something else for me, -so I don't know how it would gone for me...was easy for him. This item has turned out to be even more useful for our daily routine than I initially anticipated. Good purchase.

We had the Hot100 installed in our renovated house and it turned out to be a piece of crap. The button on the tap would stick and eventually stopped being moveable, all this in less than 2 years. I am wary of Insinkerator because we had one in our last house and the control broke and the tank started leaking. Nonetheless, we like an instant hot water heater and the only alternative is one that sits on the counter. Insinkerator seems to be the only product available. It was easy to install because the old unit had been there and I just had to replace it. I like the control a lot better than the button we had on the last unit. It feels like it might last but I am still wary given that our past experience with Insinkerator has not been very good.

Instalation was simple enough. Was not pleased but rather satisfied with the quality of the materials used in construction of this heater. Because of the number of people stating it burned out for them in short order I chose to suply it with pure water from our reverse osmosis filter system. I know this water has no minerals because after 6 years our kettle is still spotless. The water dispenser did "boil over" after first fill and powering up, this might be due to our elevation, 2300' asl. Turned it down and my wife is very pleased. Time will tell if it lasts..........
