Super upgrade for MacMini
Everything worked great but I recommend in all cases connect one of the rear USB-C to a USB power source as indicated by the manufacturer, preferably 5A or more, I had some problems connecting an external enclosure, an OWC Envoy with a PCIex Apple 1TB from my previous MacPro 2013, at one point transferring a large file as a test (20GB) the M2 that I installed in the HUB was disconnected, and was only using one of the two slots for storage that brings the Hagibis USB-C Hub. Then I connected in the other internal slot a Crucial 1TB SSD and the USB-C to a mobile charger and everything was perfect, I have not had any more disconnected devices. The front USB slots and SD and MicroSD work great, the LED status indicators of the disks are very useful, the M2 turns off when it takes a while without being used and the SSD begins to blink slowly indicating that the disks are like at rest but only mark one in the Finder is activated in a millisecond. I still need to test with video editing and the Display Port output...let's hope everything keeps working perfectly. I think it's a perfect upgrade for Mac Mini users, mine is a M1 512GB and 16 RAM and this Hub really came to be the relief for my headaches with audio libraries and multitrack audio projects because they take up a lot of space

disconnects the ssd and external display issue
The product arrived as expected in good packaging, and the assembly tools were also included. For a Mac to attach an SSD, you need to format the SSD in a specific way, which you can figure out online. Although I followed all the steps, most of the time I get a notification that the SSD has been disconnected. If I have an app downloaded on it or running, it becomes a hassle to wait for it to reconnect. Furthermore, I also use a two-screen setup with an external screen connected to the hub. Sometimes the secondary screen connected to the hub disconnects, and it's really frustrating to deal with. I have tried connecting an additional power source to the hub, but I still have this issues. I have been using the hub since October, and I still face the same issue.

Love this hub. Better than Satechi and the other noname knockoffs. This appears to be the actual OEM and the model I bought has 4k60 DisplayPort and SATA (great for Time Machine) and M.2 slots. I am getting about 800MB/s from an NVME drive, which is pretty great considering this is a USB-C 3.1 gen 2 enclosure. USB ports run at 10Gbps instead of 5 in alternatives. Two downsides: Uses both USB-C ports from your Mac Mini, and is not Thunderbolt. The upside though is there's no additional power supply as there would otherwise have to be on a Thunderbolt dock due to power limitations. Recommended.

Device Looks good - just started using; item delivered two days delayed due to the amazon local delivery executive issues and after a couple of customer care calls they reassigned it to another delivery executive and she delivered it as per the reassigned date and time. The Samsung T7 Shield gave better write speeds when used with the HUB's USB-C! compared to T7 Shield using directly with the Mac MIni M2 USB-C port! But the read speeds reduced to around 700MB/s. I have ordered the "XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade M.2 NVME 2TB" along with this and that SSD connected with the HUB's internal M.2 slot gave a respectable read write speeds around 960MB/s. Data transfer from T7 Shield to the "XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade M.2 NVME 2TB" resulted in errors and drive disconnections during bulk copying. However copying individual folders and files worked fine. The HDMI port gave 4K @60Hz without any problems with my Mac Mini M2. SD and MicroSD cards also worked without any problems. I have pasted an additional apple logo sticker I had on top of this Hagibis HUB and with that the HUB looks like from Apple :-) I will monitor this closely in the coming days and update the review with positives and negatives if any.

I installed a 1TB SSD and a 500GB NVME into the device. My Mac Mini M2 pro has no trouble accessing both drives and I've had none of the disconnect problems some people seem to have had. I've used an external blu-ray USB drive successfully plugged into the front of the dock. No issues at all. Good product for a good price. It looks good stacked under the Mac Mini. I do tend to find the mini does slip a bit on the top though so they don't stay perfectly lined up for long.

This hub expands the Mac Mini ports and connected without difficulty. Although adverstised to work with the latest M1 Mac Mini using the Thunderbolt port I had no difficulty using a Thunderbolt to USB (on the Mac) with my Mac Mini 2014 model. I only get the throughput speed of the USB on the 2014 model, but it works as expected. There was no difficulty with any of the input ports or the card readers. So if you are prepared to work wih the slower access speeds it is a worthwhile solution. I am not accessing large fast video files on this machine, simply SD photocard (RAW) and if there is a delay on transfering my 32GB of data I've not noticed it being a problem. Eminent solution, the hub looks good sitting under the Mac Mini no heat issues with either. So, it is a neat solution to the problem of extra ports for the old Mac Mini. Would be happy to buy again.
