Nubian Heritage Aluminum-Free Deodorant, Patchouli & Buriti – Natural Deodorant with Organic Shea Butter, Rosehip Oil, and Aloe Vera, 2.25 Oz

My favorite deodorant! Not sticky unless I put too much on. Smells so good. Only deodorant that works for me postpartum.

I've been using natural deodorants for the past two years. I admit, it's hard to find a good one that holds up throughout the day without sweat and smell sneaking through. I'm a female in my mid-40s and my hormones are not playing nice these days. This deodorant came to the rescue with a wonderful smell, smooth application, and minimal wetness throughout the day. Remember, it is natural, not a miracle worker, so on days when I'm more active or stressed out, I need a mid-day application to avoid embarrassing moments. The smell is not as "patchouli" as I had hoped, but does have a very pleasant, natural smell. My 13-year old daughter had to use it in a pinch, and now insists on this one in her athletic bag. Our favorite before this one was Native. Not anymore. This one outlasts, dries quicker upon application, and smells much better. I also really like the Nubian lotions and body butters. They're great for people with sensitive skin.

I tried going aluminum free a few times with no success - Native, Harry's, some of the older brands back in the day. All left me embarrassed and warning everyone around me that I smelled bad while I reapplied every 5 minutes. I did some research before this and discovered it might've been due to the baking soda, and after looking for some patchouli and baking soda free scents decided to take a stab with this. As a heads up I don't use this alone. At night I dab a small amount of Lumi on my pits after showering then use this during the day. I reapply after my afternoon workout. So far though aside from that it smells divine and lasts all day. I still have yet to weather summer but absolutely no odor (I wore the others during WINTER and they left me smelling line I ran a 5K and never showered). Buying this in bulk!! Bonus - I have very sensitive skin and no rashes!

I love this "natural" deodorant. It smells AMAZING! I can't use any baking soda based deodorant and it has been very hard after many years to find a natural deoderant that works and doesn't irritate or burn my sensitive skin or leqce behind a gross residue. It is well worth the cost because it lasts for a very long time. I wondered if it worked and found out when I went to the gym one time without it that I can't live without it! Also, it doesn't stain my clothing. It goes on clear unless you rub it around quite a bit and get too much and then it will turn a little white. I highly recommend this formula for all tyoes of people...especially those with very smelly pitts and sensitive skin who are looking for a light natural alternative!

I think they’ve changed the formula over the years because this “used” to be my favorite deodorant. I was a big fan of the Shea butter formula for ten years (which I loved and they seem to not carry it in stores or online anymore) and over the past several years I’ve had trouble finding it. And if I did, the product just doesn’t hold up for 24 hours anymore like it used to. I’m one of those that’s still hanging around and hoping that maybe another scent will work. I tried several and currently trying this patchouli formula. I put it on in the morning and by the afternoon I smelled like a burly man just after a workout. I’ve pretty much tried all of their scents and they are either too perfume-y or glide on wet or both, and I have to use a tissue to pat my underarms of the moisture before getting dressed. All of the Nubian deodorants have gone down in quality over the years in my opinion. It’s not the same.

I tend to have darker arm pits and this just makes it worse, scent is pleasant but it feels sticky when applying daily Not comfortable Does not last long I wouldn’t get this again

I’ve tried many, many different brands of deodorant in the search for one that doesn’t use aluminum, doesn’t make my pits smell like a hippie swamp, and isn’t $30 a stick. This is the only one I’ve found that ticks every single box. It won’t be as effective as less natural brands, so don’t expect old spice level sweat control, but it smells wonderful and keeps my underarms from feeling and smelling super gross :)) even on really hot and active days. This has been my go-to for close to a year now, highly recommend!

Love this deodorant and lasts a long time, 24hr protection and scent. While the patchouli is light but still present. It is such a calming earthy scent. Great product!

I was looking for a more natural deodorant and this has lovely scent and lasts on me for the day. I haven't been using it a few weeks now and there's still lots left, would recommended!

Der Duft ist sehr dezent und lang anhaltend. Ich bin verliebt in ihn! Die Deo-Wirkung liegt im oberen normalen Bereich und ist gut verträglich. Nur der Preis ist etwas happig, aber der Stick hält wohl auch lange.
