I really loved this set. 250 pieces is just the right size for an after-supper puzzle session when I don't feel like hauling out the big one or want to feel like I accomplished at least one thing that day. Or sometimes just when I want to keep my hands busy while watching TV. The design is fantastic, the foil is always nice to be distracted by, and the pieces themselves are sturdy and hold together very well. So much so that I can roll up the finished puzzle and hold it like a burrito without pieces falling off. And unlike the 1000 piece puzzles, I don't mind breaking them apart to go back in the box. My one complaint, and this is one that I'm sure Galison can address, is that there's not near enough of these sets. There are two more sets from them, each with a different designer. There's also another set of Frank Lloyd Wright designs in a 4-puzzle set cube with 200 pieces apiece, and a second cube set from another designer. But I've already put all of them together at least once. I've attempted to find other 200-250 piece sets for the same purpose, but I just don't like what's out there. Most of them are made for kids, with larger pieces or kiddish designs, especially lots of licensed designs such as Disney. The few not obviously for kids are fine, but the designs are (to me) meh, saccharine, cliched fine art, or boring. I really, really like these abstract designs from Galison. I probably have more of their puzzles than any other so far. The abstract designs are just challenging enough with repeating colors and patterns in these smaller sets that it's not a letdown when I'm done.

This puzzle is THREE different but coordinating 250 piece puzzles in one. Each puzzle has a different color backing which makes sorting easy. My family made a game of this puzzle and had a race to complete their individual panel. Each puzzle is cut with the same die-pattern so the pieces are interchangeable (i.e. I took the outside border of one color and mixed them with the insides of another. This made for an interesting twist. The pieces are very sturdy, and the gold is really shiny. I like that I can pull this out and do one quick 250 piece or all of them. The pattern is very pleasing and looks wonderful just sitting out after they are complete. One last thing worth noting, the pieces fit together so well, you can pick this puzzle up whole without fear of it falling apart. The puzzle maker and puzzle designer are both hits in my book.

The puzzles are adorable but the packaging is frustrating as can be. Instead of three bagged, 250 piece puzzles, everything is lumped into one bag, meaning you have to separate all three puzzles before you can start doing any of them. (then put each puzzle in its own separate Ziploc bag.! Additionally, each puzzle has its own color on the reverse — yellow, salmon, green. But some of the puzzle pieces have the same salmon color on both sides, which makes it impossible to tell which set it goes in meaning we finished one of the puzzles and we’re missing a piece which is been miss sorted into one of the other piles. Packaging the puzzles separately would fix all of these problems.

Very beautiful puzzle, not too hard and not too easy. Was cool to have more than one puzzle in a box.

Just a beautiful puzzle especially the gold foil accents. The only thing I didn't realize until I assembled it was that it's three individual puzzles.

It's wildly misleading to advertise this as 3 250 piece puzzles. Yes, there are three puzzles, but the pieces of all three are mixed together in one bag, so essentially you'll end up with 750 pieces and you have to figure out which of the 750 pieces go with which of the three puzzles. That essentially means you have a 750 piece puzzle to sort out. I was looking for three beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright puzzles that my wife and I could put together while on vacation. I wasn't looking for a vacation headache. So I sent it back.

Just received this box of three puzzles today so haven’t done one yet but look like they will be really fun. The pieces came in one bag and are clearly marked on the reverse sides for super easy separation. A paper for each puzzle has some general info on the back which is color coordinated with the backs of the pieces. Each puzzle is 250 pieces and will measure 8.5” x 15” / 22 cm x 38cm at completion. The pieces are a decent size and look to be sturdier than Galison’s other minis. Much prefer this set-up than separate little boxes in a bigger box. Off to do them now and really looking forward to the Trina Turk ones as well.

Meets expectations. When something leaves you with a nice feeling, nice is the appropriate review.

You can't go wrong with a GALISON puzzle. Beautifully created and easily crafted. I love Frank Lloyd Wright puzzles, and I am collecting them all!! Slowly piecing together my library of puzzles
