I honestly love this, absorbs like magic, it doesn’t slip, it feels like a design piece in my bathroom and doesn’t smell at all (despite what other reviewers said). 4 stars as I would have preferred it a bit bigger but it wasn’t an option.

The rug has a herbal smell. little by little it decreases. It really absorbs water, but remains hard and dry under the rug. It doesn't slip on the floor, it came with an anti-slip backing.

The mat itself works, but after a while our feet became dirty when using it - we noticed this on our neutral coloured hall carpet outside the bathroom.

The pattern on the mat makes it slightly uncomfortable to stand on, but very good otherwise

The mat itself is as advertised, dries quickly an feels good on the feet. Problem is it has to sit on a mesh mat to not slide. Wish it just had some rubber feet and wasn’t a two part system. Also instructions say you have to sand it (sandpaper provided) every few months?!?

I had previously seen these in Japan years ago, but could never find them in Canada. I bought one immediately when I saw them on Amazon. These work amazing as bath mats. They dry out so quickly you can literally watch it happen. No more soggy, stinky, moldy bath mats. They are also very easy to clean day to day, since you can just sweep them like a tile. My robot vacuum goes on top of it no problem, and doesn't move it around.
