Once you've got a Toto Washlet, you'll never want to sit anywhere else!
Japanese hotels have spoiled us. I've installed two Toto Washlets in our primary residence (two elongated bowls) and am now adding them to a vacation home (two round bowls).I prefer the models with remote controls so you don't have to contort your body to reach the controls. But one of my installations was right next to a glass shower wall, so I didn't have a choice and went with the integrated controls. The hardest part is finding a 120v outlet nearby. If you're lucky it's on the other side of the wall. If not, it'll take some effort to run wiring to the closest outlet. Trust me. It's worth it.You'll have the cleanest bum on the block!

Get one!!
No more cold seat, the easy close lid and set are quiet, using much less toilet paper. price was I guess reasonable and it is comfortable.

I should have bought a Toto Washlet a long time ago!
I never had much interest in using or buying a bidet but when we remodeled our bathroom last year, I decided to install a new electrical outlet near the toilet just incase I ever changed my mind about installing a bidet. Good thing I did.During my international travel last month every hotel I stayed at had a bidet in the bathroom. I got used to the warm toilet seat and warm water to the point when I decided to buy one. There are a lot of good brand bidets but I decided on a Toto, who have been making bidets since the 1980s. This is also the brand used in the hotels I stayed in.Installation was straight forward but I ordered two different T-adaptors just incase the supplied fitting was a different size than the American Standard flush valve connection. The Toto hose fitting fit perfectly so I will be returning the adaptors. The only problem I had (not with the Toto), was inserting one long rubber grommet into the toilet. The instructions show a diagram indicating to wet the grommet. That didn't work so I used some silicon grease I had previously bought from Amazon, and greased up, I was able get the grommet through the toilet rim.The other hole was slightly larger and the grommet inserted without much resistance. Because the hole was slightly larger, when tightening the screw down it lifted the grommet out of the hole and allowed the toilet seat to wiggle side to side so I wound up using the factory American Standard grommet. Fortunately it had the same thread pattern and it allowed me to tighten down the seat securely. After the installation I tried it out and made adjustments to the heated seat and water temperature. I showed my girlfriend how to use the settings. After she tried it, she liked it.Glad I finally got one.

Good Bidet Toilet Seat
Bought this after our trip to Japan where many of the toilets we used has this water cleaning feature to reduce the use of toilet paper and provide a better cleaning of your bum. My wife likes it. So when we are back home after the trip, we bought this bidet after looking thru different reviews. Also Toto is a Japanese brand that we saw in many of the toilets we used in Japan, common sense say that if the brand is that popular in Japan, they must did something right. The bidet provides a good heating temperature for the seat (3 settings) and keeps our bums warm during the cold morning usage. The water stream and strength is also at a good point where it wasn't too harsh but strong enough to wash the bums clean. Although if you want to have your bum dry right away, you still need some toilet paper to dry. You can use the blower that comes with it to blow dry your bum but you will have to sit there for a few additional minutes. This bidet has other settings that provide enough features for a beginner usage at a reasonable price. There are different models of bidet out there that provides more features but at a much higher price. It all depends on what you are look for. Comparing to another brand of bidet we bought that uses a remote control, we prefer the hardwired one. Two reasons, the first is we don't have to look for the remote every time we need to use the bidet features as many times after usage, we just randomly put the remote down and the next person has to find it. The second is the remote could malfunction and you can't use any of the features and this happens to us. The bidet is useless until we get a replacement remote. Lucky we are still within the warranty period and can get a free replacement without extra out of pocket cost. The replacement remote cost about $80 in addition to the shipping cost. So if you do get a bidet, doesn't have to be Toto, but any brand, I suggest get the hardwired ones and not the ones that use a remote.
