I’ve only used this a few times since I got it and my initital thoughts are: 1. Fits great, soft and stretchy, while still giving that gentle squeeze and doesn’t move once it’s on 2. Folds up so it’s easy to pack into the provided bag 3. Freezes quickly - however I found the freezer made this waaaayy to cold, I couldn’t keep it on for more than 20 seconds out of the freezer. I would highly recommend trying it in the fridge before freezing it. Fridge cold felt amazing while freezer cold I found to be a bit painful/uncomfortable 4. I definitely felt relief from my tension and occular headaches/migraines. It obviously didn’t last forever but was a huge relief while wearing the cap

This cap is pure magic. I leave one in my freezer at all times. The relief is immediate as everything in my head just slows down. It's as every nerve ending gets a chill pill - incredibly helpful during a migraine. I find this lasts for about 30-45 minutes, so I ended up getting a 2nd one for bad migraine days. While I can put it on my head immediately because of the neoprene sleeve, I don't recommend it. Start slow. putting it over the eye before that part of the mask has a chance to stabilize with the room temperature is uncomfortable for the delicate area. Also, going to extremes has spiked my migraine feeling for the short term, so slowly slipping it on ended up feeling so much better. the mask covers the entire crown of the head, eyes, and down to the base of the skull. I have a larger sized head, and this does not squeeze my head uncomfortably. It balances compression with squeezing.

I wanted to write a review to spare the next buyer from ruining their migraine hat like I did. The hat has a smooth sleek fabric texture, a comfortable gel filling, and a slight snugness around the head when worn (that I found really enjoyable). It blocked out light well. When stored in the freezer and then placed on the head it was extremely cold. Even at room temperature it always feels a little cool to the touch, which I enjoyed. I slept like a baby with it on. Two important things: 1. If you're going to put it in a fridge or freezer make sure it is in a sealed bag. 2. It cannot be washed (other than spot treatment). The manufacturer does disclose this information, so I did not deduct rating points for this. I made the mistake of putting my hat in the freezer without a bag and even though my freezer is fairly clean every odor in the freezer leeched into the hat. It stinks. I tried to wear it anyways and the weird stale freezer smell then got onto my sheets as I napped on them. It was at this time I realized the hat is advertised as only being wipe-clean. You are not supposed to submerge it. I wiped it and the smell remained, so I then decided to risk hand-washing it in a wash basin. The hat seemed to be in good condition afterwards, but the smell remained. At this point I decided that the smell was too unbearable and distracting so I had nothing to lose by putting it in the washing machine (with cold water). The washing machine made the fabric lose it's tightness and made the gel filling become lumpy. And if that's not enough, I can still somehow smell the faintest note of the freezer. I'm not sure that it'll be usable in its current condition, but I will try. I liked the product in theory. It was very comfortable and it did help with headaches. For my own preferences though I would have preferred a product that was more durable and washable, especially something that's being placed against your skin that might collect oils, makeup remnants, and other dirt over time that you'd want to wash off.

I previously bought the all black version of this for my father who frequently gets headaches, and he's loved it. I had tried it a few times myself so bought another one for myself. I went with the "winter" one just because it would arrive much sooner and I've been having migraine days recently. The gel is very cooling, even at "room temp", and it fits snuggly but comfortably and I have a decently large head. The only reason for 4 stars is that the winter design has white across the bottom area that covers your eyes, and so it doesn't seem to block light very well at all (especially compared to the black one). I would suspect it would be a similar story for any of the lighter colored options. Overall, a great help for headaches, but definitely go with the black option if you want the light blocking.

This is a game changer if you have headaches or light sensitivity. I’ve recommended to many friends who suffer headaches or migraines. I’ve purchased 3 for myself and one for each of my kids. For me, it’s too intense frozen, but I do refrigerate it. I wear it sometimes just to block out all light input. I have also purchase the full back one, because this is such a great product.

I’ve always had bad aura migraines. I got this cap early on in my pregnancy since I’m not able to take medication while pregnant. Since using this cap, my migraines have resolved quickly and I get soothing relief instantly to combat nausea and light sensitivity. The mask is flexible and yet still fits snug/perfectly to apply pressure to the head without crushing your eyeballs. I keep mine in the zip bag it comes in in our fridge. That way, when I need it it is ready to go! (The zip up bag also keeps it from getting dirty from foods in the fridge or a fridge smell) I can not rave about this cap more. I wish I had bought it sooner. Whoever invented it, THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Fantastic! Very comfortable to wear. The material is soft and soothing. Unlike other styles and brands, this one stays cold long enough to feel the pain relief. It has full coverage of all the typical headache points, plus it’s easily adjustable to target specific areas as needed.

Love these. I now own two. I have had other brands, but prefer the combination of durability and softness of this. I keep it in the plastic bag in the freezer to avoid odor absorption and it remains perfect. My first of this brand is about 6 years old. I have had 2 other brands as my "back up" that have not held up well. I highly recommend.

Best product on the market! Worth the extra $10. I’ve tried 6 products based on top ratings. The product with the same gel thickness is My Halos, which has unnecessary fabric at the base/nose. Some sites rate Only Fit as the best and I strongly disagree as the gel is thinner and the nose is uncomfortable. I have not found a better product yet.
