More tv channels with antenna and amp!
Receives more channels with better signal strength and quality. Amp will filter out fm radio and cell signals. Tried several different antennas, this is best. Easy to assemble, very large! You tube has assembly videos to watch.

Great product
To start, this review is unbiased, I received nothing for free. Ordered this when I decided to cut the cord, so the speak. Getting rid of Direct TV and moving to OTR television with a few streaming services for premium content. Installed this antenna on top of my house, on a 20' mast, so it's about 32' from the ground. We live in a fringe area, about 60 miles from the broadcast towers for the Dallas/Ft Worth metromess. We are also in a low lying area with lots of mature trees. As it turned out, aiming it at the towers, the antenna is pointing directly at the top third of a large cedar tree, which concerned me. It arrived on time and packaged well, no damage. Unpacking and assembly was pretty straight-forward, took maybe an hour being very careful. Installation went well, I just connected to the existing coax from the dish and the first channel scan resulted in about 80 channels from the target towers, with a couple picked up from another market off the back of the antenna. 2nd scan jumped me up to 114 channels. So for my purposes, this antenna works great. It's build quality appears to be better than another antenna I put on a more remote property a few years ago, that one uses a lot of plastic pieces, where this one uses mostly metal. We'll see how long this one lasts, but right now I am very impressed. It even comes with it's own amplifier, so no added purchase beyond the proper length of coax cable is necessary. I do plan to tee it off to two additional sets in the house, but right now I am just using it for one tv on each of the outputs from the amplifier and it's working fine. I would definitely buy it again.

Finally, no pixelation.
Located at the extreme fringe of the Seattle broadcast coverage area, we have struggled with reliable reception of upper UHF channels. Our previous setup consisted of a Range Xperts Long Range VHF/UHF antenna paired with an RCA 22 dB preamplifier, mounted approximately 35 ft above ground level on a rotor. Despite this, high-UHF signals frequently exhibited pixelation and, in marginal cases, were not detected at all. The Televes DAT BOSS HDGV was selected based on its technical reputation and design claims, particularly regarding gain, filtering, and “repack-ready” performance. In comparative testing, the difference was substantial. While height and azimuth have long been recognized as critical for OTA reception, this antenna’s provision for mechanical tilt adjustment, combined with its multi-director array, adds an additional degree of optimization that is often overlooked in consumer installations. Notably, even when evaluated at a reduced mounting height of approximately 15 ft, the DAT BOSS HDGV increased the channel count by 16 stations relative to our previous antenna system. More importantly, upper UHF channels that were previously unstable or not even detected, are now received with rock-solid reliability and visibly improved image quality. Given the FCC’s spectrum repack, which forced many TV broadcasters to shift frequencies, the Televes “repack ready” claim appears to be more than marketing language. In real-world fringe conditions, this antenna demonstrated superior performance, particularly on challenging high-UHF signals, and effectively eliminated the pixelation issues that previously impacted live sports viewing.

The best solid and sturdy antenna available
The best antenna I’ve found yet. I live in rural Wisconsin about 70 miles from almost all tv stations, and this antenna has no trouble pulling them all in. After 21 years of Dish Network’s decline in channels and raising prices, I had enough. I now get 37 over the air USABLE channels with no infomercials about Shark vacuums or knee pain that I was getting charged for and didn’t use. I’m not going to miss that.

Great signal even with big trees hopefully filters Cell tower impact.
I bought antennae because of the installation of a 5G cell tower that is not operating yet... I know first hand the problems Cell towers cause with wireless internet and Roof top OTA ... hope it works ... for now it is great no complaints best reception and works well with my Starlink internet mounted about 20' apart....this unit promises filters from cell towers so that is the goal... few people understand the very real risks Cell towers pose and the impact that government regulations burdened us with this antennae will hopefully take care of the problem when needed.

Great directional antenna for the cord cutters.
Pulls in all the stations! My geography is favorable and I have the antenna about 30 feet off the ground. I easily pull in several ATSC stations from 89 miles away. The transmitter is on a mountain, which helps. It is very directional. It does not see "most" stations only 6 miles away in the wrong direction, but it does see some.

Quality Issues
Purchased based upon recommendations from the antenna man Pa. Once assembled it performed as expected. Unfortunately, out of the box it was not ready for prime time. The plastic components holding the uhf/vhf elements together were separated. After trying to just push them back together it was obvious it was not that simple. Closer examination revealed not all ends were properly burred and just would not fit into the plastic separating ends until they were. Completed the quality control process that should’ve been completed prior to packaging and as previously mentioned…it performed as anticipated. Disappointed with out of the box quality… Satisfied with performance following the alterations. Recommended with caveats…

More Joy Than I Expected
First off I should note that my box arrived with a puncture at one edge, which someone had taped over. And sure enough, inside one of the elements had been broken out of one of the VHF wings. As it was one of the innermost elements, and for the lesser-used VHF band, and as I didn’t fancy going through a troublesome return process, I calculated that this one element would probably not seriously affect the performance of the antenna. (Which, thankfully, turned out to be the case.) I live some 70 miles or so from my nearest broadcast stations, which I have been able to receive for decades by using a very large, long-range rooftop antenna. And when broadcasting switched over to digital transmission, the same antenna continued to work just fine. So that was a pretty sweet deal. But this year I was feeling that it wasn’t going to last forever, and the signal amplifier was getting pretty old, so it might be a good time to future-proof my setup. So for less than $200 I picked up this Televes antenna. Frankly, the assembly could have been a giant headache to figure out, but for the fact that the company provides a great video on YouTube that depicts the entire process visually, step by step. They seriously did a fantastic job with this, so be absolutely sure you fire up the video before attempting to put this thing together. After assembly, I wrestled my big old legacy antenna down from the roof. I suppose this Televes unit is considered large by modern standards, but it is a positive breeze to handle compared to my old one. It was a snap to carry it up the ladder with one hand, then clamp it to the existing mast. With my preferred orientation, this antenna did not bring in any additional stations — my old giant antenna was already getting everything available from that direction. But when I consulted the reception meter on my TV, the signal strength I was now getting on these channels was much stronger than I had been used to. I also believe this sleeker unit is going to make out better in high winds, and will certainly collect less snow than the old one. Bottom line: a sleeker installation and a stronger signal, at a modest investment. Installation note: if you are running a new coax up to your antenna, there is an included cable end with a weather-proof sleeve, and the instructional video shows the process of splicing it all together. In my case, I already had a suitable coaxial cable running to the old antenna, so switching that over was simple.

Best tv antenna being offered on Amazon Canada
The Antenna performs very well so far. My location is behind tall trees that never allowed me to have a steady signal. This unit pulled off the channels I was expecting. Once I powered up the amp, the channels' signal level improved exponentially. Beside the unit complexity, it was easy to assemble. The bad part is that it is very directional and I will need a second unit to receive the channels located within 45 deg from the main direction. I expected that after having the same issues with all the previous antennas I had tried. I would recommend this antenna if the stations are located in a 40 mile range, and there are obstacles between the location and the TV tower.

Top Notch antenna
I just set up my new Televes LR Mix. Most of the channels I was picking up now has a stronger signal strength, there’s one channel that’s was iffy to begin with that I lost completely. This is because this antenna has a more narrow beam width as my former antenna. On the other end, I’m now picking up a channel I have no business picking up. The only other disappointing situation is that I wasn’t able to receive Fox from Buffalo when I technically should be able to pick it up, but it was a long shot at about 75 miles away and a bunch of ridges in the way. I would 100% buy this antenna again, but someone in Canada should get a supply of them, because having the supplier for Canada in the USA drives up the cost. Base price of the antenna $256 Then shipping from USA to Canada $84 Then there are duty charges of about $125. UPS got about the same price of the antenna in shipping costs. Ridiculous. UPDATE: Since the leaves have fallen off the trees that I had surrounding my house my signal has improved. I was already impressed by the power of this antenna, but seeing what it can do when it has a clearer sight to the transmitter make me really appreciate the work it does to provide a stable signal through trees hampering the signal.

Very good antenna
Best antenna I have purchased. Picking up stations 50 miles away continuously. I am able to get all US networks for free.

The best antenna period , Purolater shipping complete farce
After tracing down my Purolator package , without zero help from Purolater Sntenns was finally picked up miles from delivery location However thankfully products high level quality made purchase worth it . It’s large but light and balanced . On roof not very high . On first test it had perfect reception of the same amount of stations found on my previous one ( but HD ) . Next day with a compass I repointed it to farthest stations and wow. Double the stations all perfect. Precisely point it snd it’s amazing.
