An excellent recording pulse oximeter
The Emay SleepO2 recording pulse oximeter is excellent, accurate, very user friendly, and ships fast! I previously had a much older brand and model of recording pulse oximeter that was a hassle to use, is now discontinued, and I was unable to get it working again. I needed a recording model to confirm and subsequently monitor my sleep apnea (including while using CPAP), so I went online and discovered the Emay Sleep02 model. I ordered one and was very pleased and pleasantly surprised to get and start using it quickly with no problems -- right out of the box with no hassle! To test accuracy I ran it on one finger while wearing one of those little plastic standard pulse oximeters (clips on the finger tip like at the hospital, clinic, or for home) on the neighboring finger. The results were the same or within a percent on both! I've now been using it over several nights (plus also running tests during the day and normal activities, including during exercise!). My wife also started using it (it can be used by multiple users and keeps track of everyone's data separately). It's wonderful and simple to use. You can do spot checks on the phone app while it's recording but don't have to otherwise stay connected to the phone and app. You can check recorded details on the app after recording, save raw data, and get a one-page pdf summary report with tables and graphs of the results, which you can review, file and save digitally or printed copies, and/or send to your doctor or others you might want to share it with, while at the same time keeping it private and secure. It's also light weight and not cumbersome, as well as not expensive. You just have to be careful not to snag the wire that runs between the wrist unit and finger device. I've had no problems with it falling off. I recommend it most highly!

Accurate Device and Comfortable to Wear
I'm impressed by this device with the ease of downloading the app and using the app. It is simple to use. It is very similar to the ones used by in professional sleep studies. My doctor was impressed with the report and summary. I use it to see how I am doing with my APAP at night. My wife is on oxygen at night and checks how her levels are doing. It will work good for travel to check at different elevations. This is a great Pulse Oximeter for the money. Glad I made the purchase.

The Emay Sleep O2 Pulse Oximeter is a excellent device and is great for CPAP device users needs.
I received my Sleep O2 Pulse Oximeter a few days ago. It arrived in a special plastic cube that insured no damage during shipping. The instructions included were accurate and concise to get you up and running in a very short time. It is best to charge the oximeter before using, and it came to a full charge in a very short time. In the past I have used a Emay EMO-80 Pulse Oximeter and it used the same app as the new Sleep O2 does. It would be wise if you have also used a EMO-80 device and either had the app installed on your phone for it and deleted it, or have the app on your phone presently, to be aware that your old data from the EMO-80 will be presented to you when syncing the app and phone for the first time. When I installed the Sleep O2 app to my Android phone it apparently recognized the old data and attached it to the newly downloaded app. At that time I was trying to sync my phone with the newly installed app for the first time, which is supposed to set date and time from your phone, and set the app to use this method of date and time tracking going forward. Because data was carried forward it affected the syncing of date and time with incorrect results. I corrected this on my second download from my second nights use of the Sleep O2 device, but first I deleted all the old data from the Sleep 2 app on my phone. I am a CPAP user with obstructive sleep apnea with hypoxia. I have been through a sleep center test and diagnoses. The equipment a sleep center uses is very comber son and does not encourage a good nights sleep while testing. I have been using a Resmed cpap machine and their app to generate a very good report to take with me when visiting my primary and pulmonary doctors. Now I will also be able to take with me, to my doctors a very good oximeter report thanks to Emay. The Sleep O2 is very easy to use and is so light that it should not hinder your sleep. I will use it as reports are needed. The downloading of data to your phone is a simple process and the display will let you know after a very few seconds that the download has completed. The SleepO2 is a excellent choice for tracking O2 and pulse over longer periods of time and Emay support is the best. I have found only two minor things that might improve the user experience. 1. The tiny power button on the face of the wrist unit is black in color and is the same color as the face of the screen that it is in the center of. It can be difficult to see in low light or with out your eye glasses on. 2. The USB cable that is plugged into the wrist device has a extended male end plug that is longer than other similar USB cables, and could be considered proprietary. I tried another cable I had and the metal male plug was not long enough to make contact inside the wrist unit socket. Over all a great choice at a fair price.

Perfect low cost pulse ox, one star off for not real time display on watch
I am a retired surgeon with sleep apnea and I use a CPAP machine and researched extensively about sleep. I am not a sleep specialist. I purchased an Emay self-contained pulse ox about a month ago because rely on data verification of clinical findings. I use the data along with my snore app and CPAP app to assess what is clinically going on. This is not a medical advice, by the way. Consult a physician before considering this as a valid diagnostic tool This is the original unit I purchased. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R784N82/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I liked it, but I found it heavy and not the most comfortable to sleep for an extended period of time. I usually ended up taking it off after sleeping for 2-3 hours. That model was tight on the finger, even my pinky, and was heavy and bulky. The data collection and app were consistent and easy to use. I received this unit, the EMAY SleepO2 Wrist Pulse Oximeter with Silicone SpO2 Sensor , by the vendor to test and render an opinion. I have used this pulse oximeter now for 2 weeks. It is lightweight, is not as tight on your finger, and it is not bulky as it has a soft rubber sensor and wristband to transmit the data to the smart phone app. , The app is very good with no bugs and it pairs consistently with the pulse ox to download data from the unit to the app. Has an excellent summary printout with pertinent data. It might be helpful to share this summary with your primary care if you were concerned. I have run self-experiments with this unit along with using my snore app and CPAP app. I have run data collection using these test scenarios: taped my mouth shut, non-taped mouth, nasal CPAP, Full mask CPAP, nasal CPAP with a taped mouth, side sleeping, and elevated Head of the bed. It is fascinating to see what the data shows. Basically, it confirms I have sleep apnea as the app documented low sat levels intermittently throughout the night into the high 70 %. I used this data alongside my snore app and CPAP app. Not that this does not integrate with other apps, but apparently also loads the data into the iOS Health App. So the negatives: 1) I have had the unit fail to completely record a sleep session, only acquiring 6 minutes of data in two instances in the past 2 weeks. Not sure if this was app / unit-related or user related. Looks like others have had similar experiences; however, that is not a bad record for just 2 nights among about 14. 2) it would be nice to have a real-time read-out of pulse ox % and heart BPM on the watch. you can only get retrospective data. Real-time read-out is present on the other self-contained pulse ox for a limited time after start-up. 3) It is more expensive at $99. Howev,er if you are interested in frequent data collection then I would recommend this model . There are other Emay models that are cheaper however they are more uncomfortable and weighty (require 3 AAA batteries for instance) for extended data collection.

A quality device with a good manual and an excellent app
REVIEW OF THE EMAY SleepO2 SpO2 AND HR MONITOR I recently purchased an Emay SleepO2 Pulse Oximeter. The unit has been flawless in its performance. Here are my observations in detail: IN THE BOX The system is shipped in a small plastic box that appears to be intended for long term use to store the sensor and its associated data processing unit. In the box is a silicone rubber sensor unit that fits over a finger and gently but firmly holds the sensor in place. It has a short, flexible cable attached which is terminated with a male micro USB connector. Also in the box is a wristwatch-like data processing unit with a silicone rubber wristband that appears to be large enough to fit most anyone. The data processing unit itself is approximately 16 x 45 mm and 12 mm deep. At one end is the micro USB connector that mates to the sensor assembly, and is also used to charge the internal lithium battery. This port has a cover that, when closed, looks like a small wire attached to the body of the unit. A quick tug on the wire-like part exposes the USB port. On the face of the unit is a single button that is used to turn the system on. There is also a tiny multicolored LED that gives an indication of the system status. There is a short USB cable for charging the battery, but no charger. Finally there is a users manual which appears to have been written by an english speaking author - A real plus! FIRST USE Following the instructions in the user manual, I first charged the battery. The manual says that battery charging can take up to 3 hours however my initial charging time was closer to 1 hour. While the battery was charging I downloaded the app from Google play and installed it on my Android phone. When the battery was charged I preformed the initial synchronization as described in the manual. This sets the date and time, and clears the system's memory. Everything went exactly as it should. No problems here! At bedtime I placed the sensor unit on my middle finger and strapped the data processing unit on my wrist. I had a bit of trouble plugging the connecting cable in as it was a snug fit. It has since loosened up some. I started the system by pressing and holding the button until the LED lit green and began to blink, then it was off to bed. In the morning I took the sensor off my finger and pressed the button on the data processing unit to turn it off. If you don't turn it off it will turn off automatically after 3 minutes. After I had breakfast I unplugged the sensor from the data processing unit, Opened the app on my phone, and pressed the button on the data processing unit to turn it on. Next I clicked on the App screen where it says "Connect to my device". The app connected to the unit and downloaded the data from the night before. I set the data processing unit aside (It turns off automatically). Now I looked at the data, created a PDF file and emailed the PDF file to myself so that I could print it and store it on my main Windows machine. It was simple, and everything went exactly as expected! I also downloaded the CSV file and opened it with EXCEL so that I could examine it in more detail. ADDITIONAL INFO I have now used the EMAY SleepO2 for a week, and there have been no issues at all. Everything works exactly as expected. The sensor unit is comfortable to wear, it does not pinch in any way. The USB cable has loosened up some but is still snug and secure. Charging continues to take just over an hour so I expect that the stated battery life of 12 hours may be conservative. The app is easy to use, not complex or hard to understand. My only issue was that I thought that the flashing green light was a bit too bright, so I used a tiny piece of neutral density film https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CRMYMB1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1stuck over the LED to dim it. You certainly can't see the light when you are asleep, or when your hands are under the pillow or the covers, so this is really nit picking. While I cannot speak to the accuracy of the SleepO2, I do use a Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic which has the ability to record SpO2 readings overnight, and the two readings are essentially identical as far as I can tell, although the watch data is not at all easy to export. There are other, clip-on units, which can deliver similar performance to the SleepO2, but the cost of non-reusable batteries, both the direct cost and the impact on the environment, as well as the cost of self adherent tape needed to keep the clip-on units in place, make the long term use of these units more expensive than the SleepO2. This is a fine piece of equipment and was well worth my money. If you need this sort of device this is the way to go! Five stars.

Not what I expected Not even as useful as your average finger monitor.
I bought this for ease of access, collection of historical information, ability to share information and low 02 and HBM alarms. First surprise the wrist unit has no display. Not even sure how the saved information works, you have to turn off the collection somehow to make that happen and I've lost interest in this thing. So far no alarms have gone off despite being clearly being below the 90% threshold for an extended period of time, no vibration, no sound. Checked setting reset settings no change. You can only see your stats on your phone APP and the stats are not the default first thing you see when you open the APP. Even if it is left open when you come back to check your stats you have to reconnect as the photo shows you still have wait for it to connect and then you get a new menu display with O2 and BMP. The menu that should be the FIRST THING YOU SEE. See the actual photo attached. How hard would that be EMAY? I'm thinking not VERY. Notice the connect button and no stats in the attached photo. You have to connect every time to see your stats and you can't view saved history while you are connected. Really poor app. I'll be sending this back and soon as find one that has a display and an app that provides the information, I bought the thing for in the first place. The finger sensor is bigger and probably better than the last 2 VIHealth units I have had, but this cord is very flimsy. See photos. I don't expect it to survive long. Like VIHealth this unit uses a proprietary USB port. Meaning you cab ONLY use their little 8" charger cord. And even though it appears to be the newer version USB. It isn't the exact same size and it still only plugs in one way. Battery only lasts for 12 hrs.

Great Pulse Ox for overnight
I picked this up to track my O2 overnight, to go along with my CPAP. I don't have direct concerns on my O2 levels, but I have struggled with getting a consistent full nights sleep. So I try to improve anything I can without being silly. The receiver straps on like a watch, slips over the finger, and a velcro strap to keep it on over night. The app downloads off the receiver and keeps the data, so you can track and compare. You can also connect to any health tracker, say Apple Health to integrate into you health snapshot. Easy to use, very good price, and really fits into my life.

Happy with the product, the App, and the customer service.
I've used the SleepO2 three times with very good results (regarding the meter's operation, not my test results). I performed two at-home tests using expensive prescription meters provided by Kaiser. The SleepO2 results fell between the two Kaiser tests so I am very comfortable with its accuracy. The finger sensor is far more comfortable, and it didn't fall off (neither did the prescription ones, but I thought comfort might be a trade-off for holding power). The App's ability to record or view in real time is very nice. The graphics and reports are easy to view and understand. I had a question and the customer service was excellent - fast and helpful responses. The bottom line: I am very happy with the product, the App, and the customer service.

Good product at good price
Bought for my wife to monitor oxygen levels during sleep. She has been diagnosed with sleep apnea and the cpap doesn't monitor oxygen levels. The app is great and gives lots of information and printable reports. It does come with a tiny velcro finger strap to keep the finger monitor in place but 5mm micropore works better. Had a query about something on the app and emailed customer services and got a reply back quickly. I was a bit apprehensive as its cheaper than lot of the overnight monitors but really pleased and reading's appear to be accurate as have compared with a medical one.

Amazing bit of kit
This sleep 02 wrist oxygen monitor is an excellent way to track oxygen levels and pulse rate during sleep and not expensive. The app is super easy to install and provides data which is simple to understand. Being able to assess sleep health has proved very beneficial. I bought it to assess my breathing as hadn’t worn my CPAP mask for 2 weeks and wondered what effect this had on my oxygen levels. Well I soon found out that things weren’t great - large oxygen dips and varying pulse levels. Each night I’d try something different (pillows/breathe easy strips/no alcohol) in the hope that if I could reduce my sleep apnea incidents I’d not need my CPAP mask anymore. Wishful thinking! BUT this amazing 02 wrist monitor has allowed me to to understand just how much I need my mask and not dislike it so much! Worth every penny, best purchase I’ve made in a long time.

Excellent bit of kit.
A very useful piece of kit to have, I found it comfortable to wear at night it didn’t come off my finger at any point. Easy to use and accurate readings. The app is very handy as your data is at your finger tips to look back over for health care providers.. I would highly recommend this for anyone who has low oxygen levels during the night.

I honestly recommend this oximeter
What a great product I have purchased two cheaper different brands in the past year and both failed . I am so pleased with the performance, quality, and it is so easy to use. The accuracy of the oximeter is excellent and easy to print out and store the data. I have COPD and my respiratory nurse was extremely impressed with the results and accuracy of it . I can honestly say that I would recommend this Oximeter . Phil in Somerset
