This sound machine…what a GIFT. Can you give something more than 5 stars?? I purchased this while pregnant, our son is 3 years old and this beautiful, fully portable, little nugget of a sound machine is still going strong and still holds a charge that lasts 10+ hours every night (we usually plug it in but have forgotten more than once and it’s never been an issue). It’s been on walks when our son was an infant, to family homes for sleepovers, on long car rides, week long camping trips, Dominican Republic, and soon Mexico. Every time I hear another parent talk about their sound machine, I have to gush about this one - I don’t care what they use, this (for our lifestyle) is better. If our little wakes in the night and needs to come to our room, it easily comes with us. We keep it very low but the volume can go shockingly high (maybe my only complaint because if a parent didn’t know better, that could be damaging for a baby’s ears). It has a little rubber ring on the back so as it sits flat, it doesn’t slide around (I mentioned the car rides, right?). The carry case and clip make it so easy to travel with, it’s practically indestructible after many times dropping it. And the white noise setting perfectly soothes and drowns out surrounding sounds so well, in fact, that my husband just recently requested his own Hush for his upcoming birthday because he finds he sleeps better with it too lol. Of alllllll the baby items you can purchase yourself or gift to someone expecting, I promise this is by far the best one that will get the most longevity and use. I hope this review was helpful!

We have two of these. We use them for travel and home. They’ve saved the night on more than one occasions when we lost power during wind storms. Great quality.

A friend of mine bought me my first Marpac hush for my son when he was really small and it's amazing. We use it as part of a sleep routine and at just 6 months old he was sleeping through the night like a champ. We brought it along on a vacation and it helped my son stay on his schedule. We bought a second one because the first is finally starting to lose some battery life. This device was so amazing, I ended up buying a larger Marpac for myself. This is the perfect baby shower gift and one of my go-tos now!
