Barron's SAT Subject Test: Chemistry with CD-ROM, 13th Edition

For SAT preparation, I have always been trusting Barron’s products and so far they never let me down. To get admitted to great schools, one certainly needs to take not only general SAT, but also SAT 2 subject tests.I really like how this chemistry SAT book is divided into sections with examples and problems after each section. It makes studying really easy and nice. All the problems have explanation, which is perfect for students who want to study by themselves. Diagnostic tests are designed to show students how well are they doing so far and which part do they need to focus on more.Wise usage of this book ONLY, can guarantee a score of 800. It is very important to give yourself time and pace accordingly. If you start studying only a week or few days before the exam with insufficient chemistry knowledge, chances are, your scores will not be very impressive.This book, patience, practice and some time are the key elements in tackling SAT chemistry exam!Good luck!

Bought this for my daughter who's a straight A student. This book did not cover enough.The actual test is really a speed test and I don't think this book really helps.

I bought this for my son, he got 800 from 800 in the Chemistry SAT. He went over this book book from head to toe and felt that was well prepared for the exam. Besides this book he studied with a regular Chemistry book.

Amazon was able to deliver me this book on a Sunday so brownie points for them. This book is like a hybrid of a chemistry textbook with 15 chapters as well as 4 practice tests on top of the study guide tall in one.

Supplement material. Good for Self practice. My son said the Princeton review seems better.

Good book. But not great printed or quality

Have you ever thought to yourself - I might be decent at chemistry? Well, after reading this book, it knocks you down once again, making you feel like you don't know anything. However, in the long run, I definitely helped me excel.

The book is a must buy for anyone giving sat 2 chem and aims to score 800. The level of questions are harder than the actual test but provides a good base.
