As a previous reviewer stated, if you want a bit more heat in your drink all you need to do is let it finish and then run it again. The result is unbelievable frothy and hot enough to scald your throat if you're not careful. You can always stop it after 1.5 runs of course. Anyway, it works perfectly, mixes and froths up one good sized mug of chocolate, Horlicks, pure cocoa nibs with sugar or just plain milk, and the price is better than many competitors. One word of warning, if you were to break the glass and think you could purchase a replacement from the manufacturer forget it. I contacted them to try and get one just to keep in case it was ever needed and the answer was a very definite no, they basically have no spare policy or holding. If it breaks you've got the throw the whole machine away, so take care of it! Apart from that highly recommended.

I use this for lattes (hot & iced) and hot chocolate and is really good at thickening the milk and adding froth. Holds just the right amount for one cup. Only draw back is it doesn’t get as hot as I’d like but that’s not a huge issue as long as you don’t mind drinking it straight away. Edit: I’ve had this for 4 months now and still using it everyday! Be careful with it though, the jug is glass and today it fell off the counter and shattered into a million pieces across the whole kitchen. New one on the way!

I bought this to replace an integrated frother which could not go in the dishwasher. This VonShef frother has a separate jug so it can be easily cleaned and can go in the dishwasher. So far so good. It's also wider than most frothers so you can get your hands in to clean more easily. The base of the glass jug is stainless steel so it spreads the heat well and does not create hot spots, unlike my previous frother, so no burn spots ... yet.

This works great while it lasts. After 6 months, milk doesn't heat up enough so you have to operate it 2-3 times to get it to the right temperature then it stops working all together.

One of the few large-capacity milk frothers out there. Does a great job except that my unit had something coming loose inside almost every time I turned it on, meaning I had to reactivate it. No easy access inside so I couldn't fix the problem myself without ordering a new machine. Not cert ain if this is just my unit or if this happens to others as well.
