Who would have thought just a little better communication would save a relationship? I was at my wits end continually finding dirty dishes in my cabinets. I guess her vision and olfactory senses aren't what they once were. The lights on the dishwasher evidently don't mean much either. We were in trouble! We have always had differing opinions on when the dishwasher should be run. I'm an evening person, she's a morning person. I once read that divorces over dishwasher usage trail just 2nd behind financial problems, well ahead of infidelity. We even sought counseling over it. This little Noosa Life magnetic DIRTY/CLEAN slider may have saved our relationship! Remembering to use it took a minute or two, but we eventually got the hang of it. I didn't need the double-faced tape that was included. The magnet was just fine. My four-year-old grandson can read it as well. There is now bliss in our home and all is right with the world. I just wish I had purchased this instead of giving the money to a counselor.

This magnet helps let my teenage son...who is assigned to keep the dishwasher cleared...when the dishes are clean and ready to be put away. I looked at a number of similar items, and am glad I chose this one. Perfect size; not too big and not too small. Easy to operate. As soon as I load the dishwasher and start it, I slide the window to "clean." As soon as it's emptied, it gets slid back to "dirty." Great little tool...

This looks professional and built in to dishwasher. Our dishwasher is black and this clings on solely by their magnet. We had been using two different types of put on and take off indicators. But usually either the clean or dirty indicator was "lost". This one is single magnet indicator and never "lost". You can clearly read the indicator and the bright colors easily indicate clean or dirty. Now the wife says I have no excuse for putting dirty dishes on the clean ones. Do not worry. I think of another excuse. But really folks, this is a great product. And I am a full price happy buyer.

I ordered this item to use on my dishwasher where previous similar magnetic items would not stay securely mounted to my dishwasher. I like the idea that it could be mounted two ways - magnetic or adhesive. I received this item, very attractive, and thought I would try to attaché to the front of my dishwasher either the built in magnets. I didn’t think it “stay” due the my prior experiences with similar items. This’ll my complete surprise, this item attached strongly with the magnets.It is easy the slide from “clean” to “dirty” and very stylish. I would order again if needed.

I love this magnet! My roommate and I were doing a horrible job of communicating when the dishwasher was full of clean or dirty dishes, especially since we rinse things well enough it's not always obvious. This has pretty much eliminated that problem. It's way bigger than I expected but I'm glad it is! The only slight drawback is that the magnet isn't as strong as I'd like, so sometimes it falls off when I put the door down. But I think if it were stronger it might scratch the dishwasher so it's worth the trade off.

Bought many different types of these in the past. Bought this two years ago. Just getting around to writing the review now. All my other types have broken from the kids. Obviously they don't like putting dishes away or being reminded. This one has stood the test of time. If the day comes where the kids eventually break this one I'll buy the exact same one.

This is a very nice "clean/dirty" magnet for your dishwasher. It has a very professional look and actually looks like it came with the dishwasher! I like the fact that it has magnets not only on the back to stick to the machine, it also has magnets on the sides to keep the indicator from vibrating when the machine is running. The magnets are strong enough that the indicator does not move around during normal use.

It works great! I use it on my stainless steel dishwasher as an easy way to let people know if the dishes are clean or dirty. It seems fairly durable provided it doesn’t get dropped repeatedly. The magnets are strong enough so if used correctly it should last. Great communication from the seller too. They followed up to see if I had received the item and if I had any problems with it.
