This does not come with the allen key. If you buy the Flame King 1lb refillable cylinder that will come with the allen key. The size you need for the Flame King 1lb refillable cylinders is 5/64

Just received this with no Instructions. Are there any?

No there's no instructions that come with it you can find a YouTube video online the easiest way to use it would also be to buy the 1-pound bottle from flame King I bought two for $50 great accessory to the purchase you don't have to worry about the little rubber seals going out in the Coleman bottles easy to fill takes under a minute comes with a little allen wrench on the flame King 1 Lb bottles super easy I highly recommend it

What is the purpose of the little white plastic tab on the refill adapter valve? The valve I have works fine without any special orientation on all 1

This refill adapter is designed to refill ONLY the cylinders that are designed to be refilled. It is NOT for the disposable cylinders as those are illegal to be filled according to the DOT. The white plastic tab is designed to fir into the refillable cylinders only and would not fit properly if you try to attach it to a disposable cylinder.
