Grass Pad with Tray 20"x16", Dog Litter Box for Puppy Training

Great option for peeing inside and very convenient

This artificial turf pad has been an excellent aid in training my puppy. The texture mimics natural grass very well, which makes it easier for the dog to identify the right place to meet his needs, even inside the house or on the balcony. It is easy to clean, only rinse with water and a little mild soap, and dries quickly. In addition, the material is strong and durable, does not fray or break with everyday use. It does not retain bad odours if cleaned regularly, which is a great point in favour. I like that it is non-slip and that it can be used both indoors and outdoors. It is ideal for puppies, small dogs or for days of bad weather when you cannot go out.

I like this training aide but quickly found out 2 things 1. It is to small for our dogs needs answer: By bigger then you think 2. It smells really bad if you don't keep up on it being clean. Answer: Check it several times a day as after a few hours the smell starts to get noticeable. Also be careful when picking it up to clean because it is flexible to a certain extent. I really like this for our dogs young and old. Just wish I would have purchased a bigger one and I probably will. I recommend this product because it does what it says and its price is fair.

Knowing what this is now, I wouldn't have accepted this for free now. It is horrible. It fell apart immediately and is super cheaply made. The "grass" gets everywhere and my dog tried to eat it. We actually found fake grass in his feces. Don't waste your money.

The idea is great and my puppy was using it. The issues I have with it is safety concerns and odor. I caught my puppy biting the fake grass, which isn’t good. I also washed everything after day 3 because of the smell and left it soaking with white vinegar and soap. The odor intensified after washing it. Not sure if I will be keeping it or just continue to buy replacements.

I like this product. It gives my dog a choice when the weather is horrible and she can’t go outside. I trained her on this as a puppy and still keep it for her when she has to go potty and I am not here to take her outside. I hear people complaining that it stinks and they can’t get rid of the smell. Well….that’s bc YOU need to do some work to keep it clean! I keep 4 extra pads and change the pad DAILY. I rinse out the dirty pad every night in the tub and spray with bleach, let it sit for about 10 minutes and then rinse again thoroughly in hot water and then hang it on an extension rod that I keep in the tub. Mine have never smelled bad so I’m guessing that the ones complaining are just expecting their dog to clean it everyday. (Eyeroll) I’m so glad that I found this product when she was just a puppy. It comes in handy and it’s great to have her indoor and outdoor trained. EDIT: If you don’t want to rinse the black tray out every single night you can put a puppy pad under the fake grass and just change that out when you replace the clean grass. Some may ask …why not just use puppy pads and skip the grass? Well, bc using the grass teaches them to also go outside. If you only use pads then they will think that THAT is the only place they can go so they won’t go outside, they will wait to come in and go which messes up outside training. And also, you can change out the dirty grass for new grass before you wash the dirty one so if your dog has to go while you are washing it out then there is no wait time which means no accidents on your floor. If you choose to not use pads then make sure you rinse the base everyday also bc all the pee goes under that first layer of the tray (tray has 2 pieces) the pee goes under the top piece- so I’m assuming the people who said it smells bad are not looking under that top piece or rinsing that tray.

I was very excited for this product to come in. However, once set up it was a lot smaller than anticipated so definitely measure before buying. My puppy is a little too obsessed with it, so much that he is ripping it to shreds. He is teething and will not leave the damn pad alone. He uses it well but I wish it would stay In place so he isn’t moving it around. The bottom seems to leak a bit too. Def disappointed in it. I will definitely not buy this again.

Worked well for puppy training

Best thing ever for our puppy! She had this in play pen and used it in the night when she needed toilet! At 3 months old she would stop using the pad! That helped with potty training! Easy washable insert, grass can be rinsed by hose! Trays are amazing no leakage! Washed 2 a week just because I didn't wanted to start smelling!

Simple and good, my dog uses it occasionally when can’t get out

The dogs took to it well. Just wish it was a couple of inches bigger.

Not sturdy enough for a puppy, started off good but would expect better longevity for the price. A pack of puppy pads has lasted better than one of these.

I give 3 stars for the tray itself but the fake grass is not healthy at all as it smells very very bad no matter how much you clean it. the pad is fine but yet again you need extra pads so you can change it daily so you have a dry clean pad every time as for the fake grass don't use it the smell is harmful. I would recommend to get the tray and pad, not the fake grass
