Editing my previous review -I had issue with mine , but the seller went out of their way to fix it and sent a new one and it has been working good so far - will update the review after using it for bit more. I understand defects happen and are quite unavoidable, but the way it was handled brought confidence in them. So I can attest on that part. I've still taken 1 star off as I'm still little concerned on how quickly the first one broke, but the new one looks robust.Old review -Unfortunately mine broke in just the 2nd time I used it and also noticed that the metal part already had mild rusting despite not washing it even once.

when i was searching for a can opener to replace my old, rusted one, the two criteria i was looking for was that it also included a bottle opener, and that the handle was smooth plastic (not that rubbery kind that gets sticky). this can opener fulfilled both of those requirements at a very reasonable price.as for the can opening action, it can be rather tight to turn. it hasn't been a problem for me, but that's probably because i'm young and don't have any joint issues yet. i certainly can see how people with joint or grip issues might struggle to use it.

Update: L&G sent us a new can opener, they stand behind their product satisfaction guarantee. I appreciate that, so I figured that should be mentioned here. I will update this if we come across any issues.Original review: We thought paying extra money would get us a better product, but after only a few uses, the can opener can no longer roll around the edge of the can. We have been using a cheap can opener that we bought for less than half the price with no issues. This product was not worth the money.

Doesn't really grip the edge of the can that well.Edited update: this has been a long time coming. After my previous two star review and comment above, the seller sent me a replacement un-asked for. It worked just fine. The thing is that I put it in the drawer with the other one and quickly tell the difference between the two. I put the extra in the camper and they both still work fine.It’s hard to admit I wasn’t using a can opener properly, but that’s the only reasonable conclusion.So I need another one for a second camping kit and I’m going to update my review and buy myself a third one.

Bought this for work after reading other reviews it works pretty good except it is still kind of hard to use but better than other hand can openers. If you are using at home it's probably will work great for you but for my purpose it's just ok.

Previous ones I have bought have fallen apart after a short period of time. Although it looks simple, apparently designing a can opener that can tolerate being used is not so easy.This one was the result of searching for the highest rated can openers on Google and then selecting the best price and features.Life is too short for bad can openers, especially when good ones are available for this price. Would buy other products from this seller

This can opener is sturdy and made well. It does its job the first time, no need to go over parts of the can again to open. It has stayed sharp and is still in the same great condition the day it arrived.
