ALL THE REASONS YOU SHOULD BUY/TRY? SAN PELLEGRINO
Thus far I have had the Limonata and the Aranciata and they are such a wonderful alternative to plain old soda. A shipment of 23 cans generally lasts me 3-4 months because my main beverage of choice is water, which I drink all day, every day and love. But it is really nice to have this as an alternative beverage when having a meal or just want something light, semi-sweet and refreshing. I also consider them to be a much *healthier* alternative to just about any other kind of beverage because #1 there's a base of something nutritious in them: namely juices of one kind or another and there's another fact that many may not be aware of along this vein---there is a MUCH higher concentration of real lemon juice in the Limonata than there is in any frozen lemonade or even any of the fancy bottled lemonades you find in the refrigerated section at the grocer's which makes it taste so much better than any other store bought alternatives. (My Mom made the best lemonade in the world IMHO and I miss it still and she's been gone for a long time, so this is as close as I can get). On to my health factors for San Pellegrino, #2 Unlike all the other sweetened carbonated canned beverages out there I believe this is the only one that is made w/REAL sugar--not that disgusting high fructose corn syrup which abounds in more grocery products every day! #3 It's lower in calories, doesn't have caffeine, and is lower in carbs There you go---all the reasons you should drink San Pellegrino instead of soda! My last reason? It just tastes so darn good and I love it. To top all of that I have searched endlessly and Amazon is the lowest priced place to purchase S.P. that I have found thus far. So ends my dissertation on the wonders of San Pellegrino beverages!!

Confessions of a Sanpellegrino Addict
It all started so innocently. It was a hot summer day and I pulled into a Starbucks wanting an ice coffee when fate rolled her eyes upon me. The establishment's ice machine was broken and I became crestfallen. I then turned my eyes towards the cold case looking for a pepsi or a coke, but alas those drinks are frowned upon, being to low brow for the common man that I am. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the devil and his arm pointed to Sanpellegrino Lemon Sparkling Fruit water. Just as Adam was tempted by Eve, I succumbed to my basest desire and followed the horned one's advice. I cracked it open and my taste buds were met by a taste that was the Goldilocks of soft drinks - not too tart and not too sweet. Excuse me for my lack of imagination, but the only words I could come up with was refreshing, satisfying and thirst quenching. As I approached my car the can was drained. The soda cost 3 bucks and I knew there had to be a better way and Amazon is it with prices ranging between 12 and 18 a case. I have tried the orange, lemon, blood orange, and pomegranate/orange and I like them best in the order that I have typed. I know I have a problem and perhaps admitting it aloud will someday return me to Pepsi or Coke, but I highly doubt. Try these at your own risk - they are that good.

This is the drink to have on hand at all times.
This stuff is great - A great stunt double drink for the days when you can't drink and water or the usual canned soda isn't on your list. Not a lower sugar/calorie alternative but a still a great choice when you feel like switching it up - Rather than just sweetened 'fake' taste this has a perfect balance of orange/citrus/tart/sweet bite and kick to it - It's refreshing too - A good morning after pick me up drink and a great drink to nurse when you are the DD - Pour this over ice in a rocks glass and it's even better - Keep the kids away, they will abandon the soda and punch for these and then you're going to get cleaned out - Great by itself or add some red or white wine for an awesome spritzer for the ladies, or pour in a good amount of vodka for a unique greyhound'ish type mixed drink - Add a lime wedge, orange wedge, a little grenadine and you are now a drink genius - Try making a mojito with this, add some mint and lime and this stuff is gold - Best combo: Absolute Mandarin and a can of this over ice = the ultimate suburban backyard BBQ tonic - Throw it in a wine glass with an umbrella in it for the ladies, or put it in a red plastic cup for the guys - Enjoy.

Best Soda Pop if you are going to drink it...
Blood Orange is my favorite flavor. I've had a few different brands of it and San Pellegrino is the best! There is a delightful bitter-bite to it, not sickeningly sweet like some other brands. I love the bitterness; it's well balanced with the amount of sugar. As to the difference between Aranciata and Aranciata Rossa: Aranciata is more a regular orange juice flavor while Aranciata Rossa has a bit of a grapefruit's bitterness flavor to the orange (no grapefruit is in it). The cans all have a thick foil wrap on top to keep the can clean. If you are like me, I don't finish a whole can at once, I reseal the can with the foil for later. Excellent sparkling beverage. Made with real sugar and real fruit juice. * I just had the Prickly Pear/Orange flavor and it was a surprise. I had to double check the can. I've never had it before and it's really good. Something about the Prickly Pear adds a nice, albeit, totally exotic nuance to your palate. I always choose blood orange and didn't remember buying this flavor but I'm so glad I did. I just absent-mindedly put cans in the fridge and pull one out and drink...I don't look at the flavor as long as it's San Pellegrino. This flavor is delicious.

A friend recommended this to me
Oh. My. God. Yes. A friend recommended this to me, and actually let me try it once, and I was hooked ever since. I don't really like flavored sparkling waters. They usually taste weird or salty, I dunno, it's just never been my thing. BUT THIS STUFF IS AMAZING. It tastes almost like blood orange soda would taste like, but less sugary tasting (though don't get me wrong, there is quite a bit of sugar in this... 33g to be exact, which is almost as much as a can of soda. There's 39g of sugar in a can of Coca-Cola, for refernece), and is totally refreshing. Even with the seemingly high sugar content, I still feel like I'm drinking this as a "healthier" alternative to soda. It totally hits the spot. If you've been curious about this stuff, I recommend trying it. It's amazing. Has a slight tart taste, but not as tart as the other San Pellegrino flavors. The regular orange one was too tart for me, and gave me a sour stomach. Blood Orange is better and doesn't upset my stomach.

Refreshing but has a bit of a bitter taste
Sanpellegrino Blood Orange is definitely an acquired taste. It has some sweetness like an orange soda, but also has a bit of a bitter taste to it as well. I didn't like it that much at first, but it grew on me (and I had so many cans of it I kept drinking it.) I actually began to like it and would consider getting it again. But I don't think kids would like it. Like the packaging with the little piece of foil covering the top which keeps the top of the can clean (underneath it is a typical pop top). It's may make a nice mixer, although I didn't try using it with any alcohol - maybe with a light rum or with vodka?

A New Treat Discovery
I heard about San Pellegrino Blood Orange Sparkling Fruit Beverage from 2 friends, during a conversation when I said I was trying to reduce the amount of soft drinks/soda pop that I was drinking. They both said this was very good, and recommended it. The only knowledge of Blood Oranges I had before this was from the introduction to the show Dexter. Therefore I wanted to try it before ordering such a large amount.(24 cans). It took a little while but, I did find a cafe in my area that carried it. I really enjoyed it's a little tart and sweet combination, it does taste like an orange. It has the fizz that I some times get a craving for now and again. When I really don't want a Ginger Ale the only soft drink/ soda pop I haven't cut totally out of my diet. This Blood Orange Sparkling Water has become one of my favorite treats to allow myself once in a while. As I find the sweet yet tart flavor both crisp and delightfully refreshing. Like my friends did for me I would now highly recommend it to others.

Magníficas
La base de agua es extraordinaria y el sabor supremo. Téngase en cuenta que es una soda, no se debe abusar. Pero para un día especial, fantastica.
