Pirates of the Caribbean Captain Jack Sparrow Adult Costume - Halloween Outfit with Vest, Boot Covers & Headscarf

I want to start off by saying I am 511 weigh 150 and I got a large and it’s fit perfect this costume has a reasonable price for a very movie accurate costume I have a lot of costumes and I do a lot of cosplay and this is one of my favorites this costume is absolutely perfect for any Pirates of the Caribbean fans, cosplayers or even just for Halloween that’s very comfortable. You might need to steam it a little just to get rid of some of the creases but the material is flawless. The sash is probably my favorite part. It looks very old and looks like it’s been around a while the banana is even nice, the boots alone are worth the money the belt is another flawless piece to this beautiful costume the pirate shirt as well even has the open side on the sleeves just like Captain Jack sparrow has in the movie even the blue pirate vest is very nicely well-made I wish it was a little bit darker, but I’m sure if you worked with Ritt die before you can dye it even the pants Are nicely done and with all the extra pieces, the accessories, the jewelry the weapon that he has, you can find all of that stuff on Amazon for a very reasonable price overall, this costume is absolute beautiful highly recommend this specific outfit for any fans out there !!!

I bought this for my 23-year-old son to wear at a comic con and we love this costume!!! There were a couple of pirates there but I specifically chose these colors because they were so unique and we never saw anyone look anything like him which was the purpose! I bought a separate pirate wig with hat and some pirate boots and a couple of necklaces and rings and he rocked it! He always goes as a Marvel, DC, or Star Wars character so this was a unique choice for him and so I was wondering how it would work but we are just so thrilled with this costume!

Had to drop a star... I simply rinsed the scarf and the sash in cool water to remove some of the fabric sizing in it... The headscarf shrunk. It it was only like 24"sq to start with vs being an actual replica of Sparrow's scarf (which was about 42"sq), and yeah... It's not the original pattern. The sash is shredding all the way around... And while that might be OK for the look, it's def not reusable... Pretty much I got suckered into the "Disney" approved crap... Is this is weekday Disney "approves", then Disney needs to be sued because they know people will trust the name. There is absolutely/remotely authentic about any of these pieces, other than the red stripes in the sash. I bought this mostly for the vest... Too bad they don't tell you it's only half a vest in back. And unfortunately I don't have time to order somewhere else... Which I'm sure they bet on in part to make the sale. Overall... The shirt is fairly decent, although the stitching is crap in some areas... The pants are fine, which I'm not using this go round, although they are fairly narrow in the hips for a L ... The vest, as I said is only half of the back; no idea what the hell they were thinking with that one, and especially not to tell prospective buyers... The waist scarf is decent; already aged and stained, so one less piece to worry about, but it is THIN... Head scarf is also thinner, but decent... And the belt is decent. Then we get to the shoe covers... Again... No idea what they were thinking... They simply do not work. Good thing I had no intention of wearing them, but would have been great to have the choice since I paid for them... The back has a long tab that ends up sticking out,all the way down the calf... Like there should have been velcro or something to make it lay flat, but they couldn't do that, because they added elastic for larger calves to try to squeeze into them... and they're not that wide either, so wide calves most likely won't work. Sizing is pretty huge, except for the pants... I'll be able to make it work, but the large is more like an XL in fit. Yes, there are those that would say "for the price" it's a decent costume... But... There are only 4 pieces that I would call usable and 2 reusable... So, no. Based on the listing, it's not worth the price. I'm being nice when I give this 2 stars, mostly because of the shirt.
